F – Friends

I am sure those who regularly visit me know that I become very nostalgic when it comes to friendship, by the grace of god I have made some very good friends all over. I am very proud of that. The following are my views on what I think about friendship, Let me take this opportunity Just want to say I love you all my friends and thanks for always being there .. and to all the new friends I have made here Online , Blogosphere. God bless you all

Internet has been a great tool, I have met so many people over it all over the world and I must say some of them have become very good friends, a few closer than family too. Blogging has helped too in meeting or knowing new people some have been good, some OK, I wont say bad because I think , No one is bad they are good for someone if not you.

I am proud and can honestly say I got friends almost all over the world now , which is GOOD cause I don’t have to stay in Hotels anymore and Spend the money THAT I HAVE NOT EARNED YET or should I say Saved yet. I have been to Chicago, vancouver, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, California , Virginia, Mumbai loads and loads of place and guess what yeah FREE ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD (and psssttt Drink tooo yayyyy) …

In this modern world we have become very unforgiving people. It may be an ethnic problem, or a community’s problem or a country’s, or in your relationships, with your wife, children, parents,Girl Friend, Friends, Acquaintances we get very very unforgiving and we hold that against them and sometimes hold that Grudge for a long long time, We wear it as a badge which says‘main tujhe kabhi maaf nahi karoonga’ (I will never forgive you)

Everyone has a hidden agenda behind everything, It was not like this always people use to be so good, caring. The words they said meant something , people stood by there words.

Nowadays people are quick to make a relation, even quicker to spoil or break one. What they say is not what they mean. What would it take to go back to the good old days. I mean how can someone say oh we are friends then at next instant go behind your back , I mean what is friendship…

Dosti karo to Jam ke karo
Dushmani karo to woh bhi Jum ke karo
magar khyal itna rahe , ki fir agar Dosti ho
to Sharamindgi na ho….

We have gotten so busy in our life that we have forgotten or forget what the effects of our actions will have on others, We have become so selfish, I ask god one thing always Please don’t make me so selfish, or careless, uncaring, heartless, Because I don’t know which action of mine might hurt someone, and to those who i have hurt , I am not sure how I will every be able to apologize to. I do hope that some day they can pardon me.

So

1. What is FRIENDSHIP/ FRIENDS ?.

2. Do we respect our FRIENDSHIP/ FRIENDS ?.

3. How do you show respect towards your friend, Or see if they respect you ?

Is SAYING That I RESPECT you same as SHOWING respect ?

To me a friend is who would stand by you, no matter what, right or wrong is something to think about after the need has got over.. A friend in need is a friend indeed that’s how we respect our friendship, Good friends stand by you Right or wrong.. That is not the criteria here at the moment.. The moment is that your friend needs you and You are there..THAT TO ME IS FRIENDSHIP…

I feel that you respect it when you can Tell them how you feel and ask them how they feel directly, rather than assuming… Respect is shown when you See the whole world walk out and a few Walk IN FOR YOU.

Do people actually mean they are friends when they say they are, or are just making fun of you. If they are then why do they do it. Would they feel the same if this happened with them, or have they become so heartless that it does not bother them anymore. How can they go to sleep soundly, well now I am being a fool because they don’t even know what hurt they have caused.

People are impulsive and say things that hurt other people, they walk over others especially people whom they say are friends. And in all this process they loose friends, I am a bit of a dumbo it takes a bit of time for me to understand people are trying to ignore me , so it gets difficult to loose me.

 

Sometimes I wish I had the Ego or Impulse to severe my contact with people. I do pray to god to make me like them as that is the way of the world it seems Now-a-days.

Also how easy it is to Forget these days but more on that maybe some other day, All I would say is Please god take care of all my friends, foes, anyone I know .. God bless all and everyone …

Some thoughts – Stupid post coming up

As promised in the previous post , about me and my Stupid posts , I thought to lighten the mood I’ve been thinking of the conversations we have with other people its funny how people respond. This is a very good example that comes to mind if someone asks you what is the most the biggest important cause, Chief Cause of divorces…

(before continuing think of it yourself and reply to the question ) ..

I am sure many will say that it was the relationship between the couple.. and plenty of more reason. Each reason is a valid one for sure.. but my dear friends here is a point to think about.. To me

Marriage is one of the chief causes of divorce.

Ok tell me if I am wrong 🙂

Moving on, I am sure everyone reading this note would also have heard the famous proverb that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but is it true – Does it hold true to all situations , not always because The light at the end of the Tunnel could be the lights of a TRAIN coming towards you at full speed, that changes the whole meaning of the proverb.

Does it not?

and oh boy you are buggered because you are in the middle of the tunnel as in your eagerness to go towards that Light , which is at the end of the tunnel , you were running .. that surly is a oooops moment

Another thing , of which I am equally guilty is telling people to smile , I say it a lot SMILE .. Smileeeeeeeeee and the world smiles with you.

Now imagine this scenario, There you are Walking up or down the road depending on what you are doing , going out of the house or coming inside the house.. Because depending on that you will either be GOING UP the road or GOING DOWN the road 🙂 (I bet you are ready to kill me here now).. anyway

where were we yeah on the road , all dressed up .. That again can be a UP or DOWN .. you can dress Up or Dress DOWN 🙂

Right… So you see every person who is coming your way smiling .. NOW frankly it would probably be ok for the first couple of times but suddenly it will become a bit of What the hell moment , I am sure you will be thinking .. is that person genuinely smiling .. Should you be smiling back at them .. or is that person Smiling at YOU.

Because if he is genuinely smiling then maybe he believes in the proverb that smile and the world smiles with you .. BUT WHAT IF HE IS NOT and then the OH MY GOD moment when you will try to figure out what is wrong with you, what have you done .. have you got your hair in shambles , is some clothing off (remember the dressing up and down I was talking above),

you know it could be anything .. so here’s a naughty thought .. from now on say

Smile, it makes people wonder what you are thinking. 🙂

Last but not the least, another thought and I am sure everyone reading this would have heard it all before too.. why do people say, and I have seen big slogans too that Alcohol doesn’t solve problems well if you think and give it a GOOD THINK..

neither does Milk

.. so why are there no posters saying Milk doesn’t solve any problems

Right I am off before someone takes offence in this politically correct rich world and takes me on.. moreover don’t want to use up all my thoughts in one post and then wonder what to right next..

2012 —–> 2013

Here we are a day away from the new year, First of all let me wish everyone reading this a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR..

The year 2012 has been Up and down and for some reason, I quite fancy that , else if not for these ups-downs life would be so boring.  The ups-downs sort of spice up life, When the down comes we somehow feel the world has come to an end or the earth below has shattered, we forget that time will change , smile will come back and it will be hunky dory once again.

All through the year I have met so many new people over my blog which has always been a highlight of my years, but that came with some heartache too , as some near-dear one’s no longer wish to know me. What hurts more is that there has been no reason for that , well at least thats what I feel, but unless I am told I would not know.

Relationships this has always been a heartache for me, for some reason it seems I get too close or friendly or emotionally attached to people TOO SOON, the rest of the world does not work that way and although I have been trying my best to change myself, I let myself down every time. Hopefully one of these days I will get or become as the world is 🙂  I had it in my bucket list last year too, It is still there in my bucket list for the new year.

There have been a few highlights in this year, some worth mentioning change in job,  Then the Queens medal which was right in the middle of the year 🙂 , Another wish or dream came true in the last few weeks of buying a house for homecoming.  Along with all the good parts came a few bad ones too, Which as i mentioned earlier made the year a bit spicy.

I had commented on a blog and that comment was shredded to bits, but it was such a good feeling to see a lot of people standing by me , That was not all the worst time was yet to come, but I would not like to mention it here now, its gone and does not mean anything any more.

I had promised a friend that I will participate in a category, that she has started for this  MONTH OF THE YEAR WRITING PROMPT 2012 – SEASON 3, but it seems I have failed her yet again, I just cant remember everything that happened in all this year, especially month wise.

So all in all I have had a wonderful year, I had just commented on a article that what will it be without the ups-downs , So  here’s hoping 2013 is equally good, with all its ups and downs to spice up the life. I don’t mind that at all as long as I have all the lovely people around.

I also want to say a Big Thank you to everyone who reads all the crap I write, All the ones who visit me and All you beautiful human beings who have made this blog a special place.  I had written a small poem for everyone during the year , which I am resharing here again as I still mean it with all my heart.  To all My friends and All who visit this blog.

Over years I have made some very good friends Even if we have not met , or chatted maybe talked once or twice over the years, But It does seem that I know them very well reading there articles. I have some favourites too, and for some I am favourite.. Let me please Take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to everyone who click on the link knowingly or unknowingly .. Thank you for all the comments, a lot of you know and I have been blamed with that too, That I am comment hungry.. OH YES no denying that I love the comments coming , But If I have forced you to come then please I am sorry.

Some of you have stood by me in my personal problem times and Good times .. Some of you hate me , some love me .. What I have found is its true things change.. Change in Inevitable , Some have just brushed past, Some who stood by me THEN have turned their back now… hence my writing that it has been a roller coaster ride.

Thank you for all the emails you have sent, The phone calls and Sms Messages.

So this post is dedicated to All the people who read what I write.  The ones who are younger than me let me say I love you all , All who are elder to me I respect you all.

Over the time I am sure I have offended a lot of you out there Let me take this opportunity to say Sorry to anyone and everyone who I let down for any reason..

Please let By gone’s be By-gone’s and let’s be friends again, life is too short to hold grudges of any kind.  I am sorry VERY SORRY from the bottom of my heart.

I was reading an article at The CYBER NAg about how some english phrases make a perfect sense – to indians.. When I happened to remember I had a few of those collected where english behaves like a funny language .. here are few of those

English is a crazy language, same words have different Pronunciations and meanings here are a few 🙂
