Let us see how steadfast I am. One of my friends asked me to pray. When informed of my atheism, he said, “When your last days come, you will begin to believe.” I said, “No, dear sir, Never shall it happen. I consider it to be an act of degradation and demoralisation. For such petty selfish motives, I shall never pray.” Reader and friends, is it vanity? If it is, I stand for it…

That is what He believed in , Today the 23rd of march, 1931 Three freedom fighters of our great nation were EXCUTED by hanging until death by a government that ruled us for so many years,  Today was the day when the british raj was shown how we the youth of the our nation were no longer afraid to walk the talk ,  to walk up to that platform where we would KISS death and smilingly happily die for the nation, Hoping to be reborn YET AGAIN so we could try once again to free our great nation from the chains it was bound by..

Here we are in the year 2012 yet again on the same fateful day, how many of us remember the Brave three , the ones on this day gave their life in a hope for a better future for us , the US who don’t deserve this freedom, the US who have never ever done anything for our nation and probably will never do, the US who are hand in glove with the corrupt , the bad the traitors .. YES i call myself and others a traitor for  we are seeing all this happen in our nation yet we go about as if nothing has happened, we don’t bat an eyelid over what is going on …

When will the time come when we will all stand up together and do something , or have we gotten so shameless that we are not dreading the day when we will also reach where these martyrs are now looking down upon us, what will we say to them when they ask us “IS this why they gave their lives”..  HOW – WHAT will we say to them ..

When will the time come when indians will start to think that Time has come to re-sow the guns in our fields.. as the little Bhagat singh did ..

The reasons why the martyrs gave their life, the reason why they kissed the rope that was to go around their neck to hang them till death, we have forgotten all those reasons..  SO many years went by before the govt of india could decide to have a statue of Bhagat Singh, in the parliament, While the Chief ministers of some state have done nothing but put statues of themselves all over the state.

Come 22nd march they all run around cleaning those statues of  martyrs, and the irony is that, the one who comes to put a garland on these statues is a NETA, a khadi wearing politician who has tons of criminal cases against him/her. .. Sad is the situation that although our nation is free yet to get anything done we need to find a minister whose call will get the job done.

The only thing that has changed since independence is the color of the skin of the looters , it was white then Now its brown.

Here is something that I would love everyone to hear ,  Put the volume at normal and close your eyes Just listen..   a little tribute to the martyrs .. Hope we do something for them for our country which will make them proud of their fellow citizens , I know you all are very busy, but do spend some time listening , maybe it will wake us all up to do something someday.. just maybe

14th february went by, majority of us celebrated it as the day of love, but there was history made on this day especially for us indians, let me ask a question how many can remember what it was that happened , this day years back..  and please no googling.. no shame in accepting if you dont know, I did not know about it myself sadly, But I wont forget it again that is for sure.

I hope we can remember the martyrs just more than once in a year …

Ps:- The above poem is by MP Navjote Singh Sidhu, The ex cricketer.

PPS:- I have not done justice in the translation of the words so please bear with me , I am not that clever.. But I hope you get the jist of it what I am trying to say.

In india the 14th of November is being celebrated as the children’s day , A lot of you have already read my views on the day , and how I feel that it needs to be changed to another day rather than it being associated with the Birthday of a politician Nehru.

But lets not talk of all that on this day .. After all its children’s day so Happy children’s day to All the kids , you have fun all of you ..

Over the blogosphere I have met so many bloggers who have beautiful kids , I know a few Buzz , Chirpy , Bably , R., the Twins  and many more so to all of them have a great day..  DO your parents proud..

Now coming to the point On this day let me tell you about a fact that not many know of and its sad that our history writers have not done anything to bring it to the limelight as they are all too far into the likes of Gandhi and Nehru’s .. to these writers others don’t exist ..  This fact also brings out the intelligence of one of the well-known martyrs of indian independence Shaheed Sardar Bhagat singh and his comrades ..

During the early organizational work being done by the martyrs was the efforts made to politicize School students, The Naujawan Bharat Sabha also formed a BAL BHARAT SABHA..  and BAL STUDENT UNION which were an organization of school children of the age 12 to 16 years old , and it had a high number of members who actually worked hard for the independence of India.

Baldev Raj the grandson of Lala Lajpat rai was secretary of the Bal Student Union.. and Kahan Chand was the president of the Amritsar chapter of Bal Bharat Sabha.

Kahan chand was a mere 11 years old when he was sentenced by the british to three months of rigorous imprisonment..

Yash another young activist was also found guilty of assisting the Lahore city unit congress and Naujwan Bharat sabha, he was only 10 at that time.. He later grew up to be editor of the Urdu daily MILAP.

Jagdish Chander  During his school days was caned by Headmaster for wearing a Gandhi  Cap. He joined Bal Bharat Sabha and later on joined naujawan  Bharat Sabha  and was known as “SHASRTI JI” among his colleagues. Participated in Bhagtanwala Bank Robbery and Kanari Bazar Dacoity case along with Jahngiri Lal, Dharam Paul,  Lajpat Rai and others. Spent almost 5-1/2 years in Jails namely Delhi, Ferozepur, Gujrat, Multan and Hoshiarpur. Was appointed as Confidential Enquiry Officer, by Punjab Congress Committee to go into atrocities committed by police in West Punjab from 1942 to 1945 and was advisor of Congress on students affairs and had been Secretary of Socialist party in 1942.

As many as a total of 1192 juveniles under the age of 15 were convicted for some reason or the other in regards to there political activities, Most of these activists belonged to bengal.

Not much has been written about these dare devils who at such a young age went on to fight for their nation. If anyone knows about other kids please do let me know too.

So today on children’s day lets not forget these forgotten children who went through all these troubles for the nation which has forgotten them.

Have a great day to all the kids out there , Enjoy your day and have fun.

Wishing You All A Very Happy Children's Day

Disclaimer :- Political Article.. No offence meant to anyone, These are my thoughts and What I as a person Believe and think.  Indian politics ..

Why do we celebrate the children’s day on the Birthday of First prime minister of India Jawahar Lal Nehru.. Have we ever sat down to see what this man was and how he behaved during his rule India .. and HOW he became the prime minister…

Children’s Day is to celebrate “childhood”. On Children’s Day tribute is payed to all children in the world. Children are loved by one and all. They win over our hearts with their ways and innocent smiles. It makes one realise that that’s the way God wanted us to be.

I am sure a lot of people will have a lot to say on this but here are some of the truths that not many know and those who know have not bothered to tell anyone else ..

First of all can anyone tell me How and where did the surname NEHRU came to being .. I will post about it next time if anyone wants to know .. meanwhile some of the reasons why children’s days should not be celebrated TO celebrate the birthday of Jawahar lal Nehru.

He had so many affairs while in office of which a lot of people know..

We all know about his affair with Lady mountbatten I hope no one is denying that ..

It is also knows that This man had an affair with sarojini naidu’s daughter Padmaja Naidu, Her pictures would be laying in his bedroom and the young Indira would often get into arguments over this issue.

This was one of the reason why Padmaja was made the governor of West bengal.

Then there is also a Story of a Lady on Benaras by the name of Shardha Ma.. With whom he had relations and when in 1949 she got pregnant , Nehru took her to and left in bangalore. She later gave birth to a baby boy.

There is also a Conspiracy story doing rounds that Nehru was very much concerned about Netaji Shubhash Chander bose and Doctor Shayama Parsad trying to be a sore thorn in him becoming the first prime minister of Independant India.. And as they say History still is guessing how these two died.

Also according the book The great divide: Muslim Separatism and Partition.. the Sister of Nehru Vijay laxmi ran away with her lover who was a muslim Sayeeda hussein (who was a servant in their father’s house).. Later Moti lal Nehru forcefully married her to a Ranjit Pandit..

There are so many stories that have come out .. yet we celebrate the childrens day and Call Jawahar Lal Nehru as the CHACHA of the nation ..

Can I please ask all the intelligent people, That if this was in our own family will we leave our kids with such a person , Whose affairs we all know of , and who had not one but a few extra marital affairs ..

Yet we as a nation have been so brainwashed, We just don’t see anything wrong in this whole family .. there are question marks on our prime minister Indira Gandhi too.. she has her own catalogue of such stories .. Which I will talk maybe next time ..

So many questions are left to be answered ..
