Terrorism

Terrorist have struck again, Killing so many innocent people.  Again this day freedom and everything else along with it came under attack from fanatic people. I am still wondering what religion teaches all this hatred and killing of people. Who is that person who is spreading these teachings.  This time people in London had to face an atrocity which cant be defined,  I hope and wish all bloggers speak against this evil that has happened. In today’s day and age one can die if they criticize one religion but killing of innocent people, hijacking , murdering innocent KIDS who are supposed to be God’s face is STILL RIGHT… Such a barbaric attack which is a threat to the values and freedom of human beings.

My heart goes out to the victims,  No religion teaches killing of innocent people yet time and again in the name of religion so many innocent have been killed.

My heart goes out for those who have suffered,  and those who have lost their loved ones to this madness, nothing ever can justify the murders. No doubt this act has been religiously motivated I can’t see any other reason behind it ,

Which GOD has ever preached that killing of innocent is right.

In the after math I found some disturbing events, Media which is supposed to be responsible does this look like responsible, before the terrorist was identified they put up this tweet, to which i replied… 

@nieuwsblog could not even bother to reply back or take back the words, its all marked under one ASIANS. (#London)

Let me tell you @nieuwsblog  I am a SIKH and an ASIAN but I am not a TERRORIST…

Well done to @metpoliceuk for the way they reacted. I just hope and pray that we can live in a world where there is  Love for all, hatred for none  #londonattack.

Instead of focusing on things that did not happen let us try to learn from what happened, It was great to see people rushing towards the victims to help them or give first aid, the response from the armed police and other agencies was commendable, make me feel safer.   Let us get together and praise those who did there best to help others in a crisis. If we all combine and get together defeating Terrorism will be so much easier.

Media needs to be more responsible and not put up tweets etc like the one above, without making sure what the truth is , the moment that Tweet by @nieuwsblog came out there were so many to follow, This in turn causes more issue’s because Every ASIAN is viewed with suspicious eyes which can never help in building up a stronger nation.

It is a shame that some out there are trying to take some mileage and usual pointing fingers which is not going to solve anything, hopefully the UK Govt. will take some hard steps to make sure such incidents are not repeated again.

We who have left our own countries and come to settle abroad need to make sure that we respect the ways of the nation , the nation that is providing for us given us opportunities to have a comfortable life, if we have our own personal problems than yes maybe we should go back to the countries where we think we will be better of.

Slut Walk

Over the last few weeks and months I have read a lot on the topic, it has ranged from people saying Men are the worst thing ever , how women will be happy without men . Men calling how women behave etc etc etc.. I have gone and put my views on a few of the blogs where the articles have written the replies to some have been funny and made me smile.

So let’s be frank and throw away all the hesitations we have, Slut walk is/was organised by people to let other people know that it’s not the women who invite men to rape them by the way they dress up ,  That is what I think is the MAIN point although there are a billion branches to it which my small mind cant cope with.

I am writing this post to put my views on all this Walks , holding discussions , meetings etc as far as I am concerned Dont help there are reasons behind that, Has a walk or a demonstration ever helped anyone and I mean that in context to OUR country INDIA, not referring to any other nation because I don’t believe taking examples of other nation will help us , things don’t work the same in our nation.

My question is to all the people (male-female and any other category which is human included) .. the reason I put that in brackets is I am sure someone out there reading this will say I am talking only of females , yeah I get that a lot so to be POLITICALLY CORRECT I put all..  right the question is will this walk really help.. or has it helped ..

Again please hold your horses and take your fingers off that trigger .. and listen to what I have to say

I am not undermining anything, I totally support all kinds of walk , dharna’s , agitations etc .. BUT my question is to all those who are quiet vocal,

what will they do if they found out that the person who eve teased or raped or molested is from their own house.. will they still want that male to be castrated …

All these crimes are done by a Male (again please I mean MAJORITY) though females too do it but lets assume here its a male who is the culprit .. Dont you think we should be teaching  the MEN the male in our own house , in our own room for things to make a difference, I strongly believe that Once that happens then the things will change.

I feel that the BASIC MENTALITY of a  MALE needs to be changed..  After all the rapist or the man who is eve teasing , or even thinking of it .. IS from our society and maybe from our own home ..

1. How many people will be there in the march, Pardon me for being a idiot but as far as i understand a Indian mindset many of them in the march will be going back to there own home shutting the door and then BITCH about it, Tell me if i am wrong in that …

2. How many of the people actually in the march will go home and to there Husband-Son-Father and point out to them that the way they look at a girl is not good.

3. How many MEN who are supporting this march will on a friday night get drunk or have a few drinks and then do the same thing against which they are standing up now. by this i dont mean they will go and Rape or molest someone I mean talking amogst their own friends .. Oh how sexy that girl is , look at her legs , this and that…

4. A baby boy grows , starts school , comes back home after a few days Mommy is probably the first one to ask “KOI GF banai”..  A girl is taught and instructed about social conduct, given guidelines about how to dress and behave in public in general. But a boy is seldom/never taught about these things at home esp with regard to conduct towards girls. He learns from his peers, from the media which shape up his misguided notions which slowly get entrenched. Something needs to be done in this direction too.  (copied this from Ajay’s comment..)

5. I also beleive that  If a woman is dressed a certain way, it does NOT mean that she’s looking for sex!.. But then I would not want a female who I know walking on the road half naked,  as a prostitue would walk.. Again YES I know how they dress and walk.  I know many out there probably wriggling there fingers to put in a comment How do i know, or how can i see.. Well my answer is Look at the one you care for and love , thats how they NOT DRESS.. hope you got a reply

I was brought up by parents who taught me how to treat a woman, I was always told that I should watch how i behave outside since I have sisters and I would not like them teased or hassled. DO you teach your son-husband-father this … Did you protest when a male in your family said something derogatory about a female in front of you.

What I/We did – What happened

Well here we go , Replying to the post on the kids left in the car Question please do answer , By now most people know what I do, so please don’t ask what I do 🙂 I cant say it here as such..

Anyway So we waited for the people to come , it was the grandma and the father of the kid who had gone for a minute to get a pack of ciggies ….

The guy smiled and went to the drivers seat, which my partner stopped him to to, the smile went off, and I went on to talk to him asking him why were they so stupid to leave the kids in the car

“It was locked “, NO IT WAS NOT

“It was alarmed”, So I could still get to them , and no one bothers these days about the alarm as there are so many going on during the day.

Well as we were talking to him telling him pro’s and cons of the situation, he said something like
“You don’t have anything better to do”

Ah well I had , had enough by then, I told him it was against the law, to which he got aggressive , At this moment I was also thinking if social services were involved it would not be in favour of the kids as Parents are the best people to take care of the kids.

The Grandma was pleading at this time, that the kid was asleep so they did not want to disturb the kids , and they parked under the light and a CCTV to be safer..  Which to me sounded genuine at the time..

So we reached a conclusion with the grandma that The mother of the children to be contacted and the kids sent with her, Cause we were not happy letting the father take the kids ..

THIS IS WHEN THE S%$£ hit the ceiling….

The guy lost it , he lashed out, we ended up in a tussle , holding him, More Police came, The guy arrested …
The grandma sent home

The kids taken in care,  social services were informed …

The Mother was contacted , She later came and took charge of the kids…

The couple were divorced and he had the kids for the few days .. Well I guess when it goes to court that wont happen again, he will probably loose the chance to take care of the kids, as I imagine the guy was not in his mind.

It was also discovered the Posh car was out of Tax and Had no MOT so That was also seized, and will be sent to be crushed…

So I guess without going into details all in all it was a Good job done .. 🙂 

The father behind bars, the kids safe and sound with the mother, she seemed to be good ,genuinly hurt, emotionally upset .. The grandma sent home as she was jsut a passenger and not responsible for the kids , since the father was there…

Do let me know if someone could or Would have done Different

QUESTION ?… Please Do answer

I was reading this article on  comfortablynam’s blog.. and that got me thinking

Indeed so very true.. I feel that kids have so much faith on there parents when young… BUT on other side there is a different story that we see happening , I will give a small example

Pity is the state of PARENTS these days who don’t look after there kids, I have some strong values regarding children, Why do parents want to have them when they cant take care of them .. WHY there are plenty of  ways to NOT have them ..

I go MAD when parents don’t look after the kids..

This is the scene, Wednesday night walking down the car park, see a Car alarm go off, walk towards it, What we see is a Posh car, lights blinking, inside a 8 months old baby in a child seat asleep on back seat, and a 6 year old girl on the front seat sobbing.

We stand there for 15+  minutes talking to the little girl, asking what she is doing , where her parents are , manged to get her stop crying.. the baby slept through all this noise Bless her 🙂  awwwwwwwwww

Then walks in a old woman(60+)  , along with a guy(40+)..  They see us and nothing open the door of the car to sit in …

On questioned the reply was  “We went in for a quick pack of CIGGIES”..  (cigarattes)

I can vouch here it was not 2 minutes… its was at least 15+ minutes

Now what I want to ask is What would you do in this case ? 

I will tell you what I did, and beleive me this Parent had a lot of nasty things to say to me … but all that later let me have your views on it first….

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY:- Nothing wordless today lots of Words – Common Wealth games

I am sure most of my article are RANTS on stuff , I was wanting to write these few line since last night when I entered my house and switched on the TELE for the news, The first news on a BBC1, and ITV1.. the headlines was Common Wealth games, along with the pictures of what had happened, Other channels are showing how dirty places are, the threat of Dengue fever.. The pictures are splashed all over

The bridge collapsed

The Village in which the Athletes were to stay… (with a picture of the model room SUPPOSED to be for ready)

The Stadiums

The interview with people who have been shifted and removed

All in all, it was shameful , what India has done has bring SHAME to our great country.. Will someone answer or be held accountable.. 3 years we had known about the games , work did not start till last year… How much or how long will we carry on living the shameless life that we are living…

I am glad the English athletes have pulled out, and the Scottish team has postponed leaving for India. I really wish these games get cancelled… Even if Delhi put up a great show the best show ever in the games Will it be WORTH it after all the Sleaze that has befallen OUR country.

Even if the games go on, what good will it be if the Athletes pull out, the ones whom people would have come to watch …

I have already cancelled my tickets to come, not worth spending so much money when anybody who is into sports here asks me , how much money will be enough for the politicians… I had no answer…

The Sports village is a embarrassment so much so that athletes interviewed from around the world are saying they don’t want to go and sleep in such accommodations.. Look at South Africa or any other 4th 5th 6th world country they would do a proper job.

Is there no limit to our shamelessness, My question to all who reading this ,

WHAT DO YOU FEEL ?

WHAT DO YOU THINK SHOULD HAPPEN ?

are you still wanting for the games to go on … The countries or the athletes who have pulled out of the even did they do the right thing… ?

WHY CANT WE FOR ONCE DO SOMETHING THE RIGHT WAY ?

All these officials, Can i please ask them HOW MUCH MONEY will be enough to stop them taking more,

HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH ?

SM sums it quiet nicely… I would also like all those people who have been telling me or emailing me about how I am looser-traitor , living in Uk, etc all the ones who are ready to give there lives for the country , what are they going to do about this.. are they still going to just say the same stuff they have been saying all along which is one line “I love my country ” .. also… How much more can we take

I was talking to my brother in Delhi a few hours ago, his words are that majority of the SANE people wish the games get cancelled, The educated people understand this They dont want it to happen, the Common man on the streets Dont want it.. So much money has been wasted… Yet again and the DELHI DARBAR has no answers.
