Third Terror attack in three months , many around the world all in the name of religion, and the person involved in the latest one says “I am doing this for my Family, Doing it for Islam”.. HOW IN THE NAME OF GOD IS THIS right, killing a innocent man for his family.

The so called DO-GOODERS Politician (who I must say are never ever in the middle of such incidents, because they have there bodyguards and other services safeguarding them)  have never been put under such kind of spotlight and strangely all those who were PRO and talking of Tolerance and human rights etc  have not been heard.  They have gone quiet.

Since the election is just 3 days away the usual political drama is on all time high each political party saying they will do more, but the question is WHY HAVE THEY NOT DONE MORE TILL NOW, why is that only now after innocent people have died that THEY WILL DO MORE.

Tolerance is a must YES we need to tolerate and everyone has basic human rights but Allowing such cowards facilities to do what they are doing,  how can that be justified. All over the world in almost all countries things are in place which may go against a particular religion BUT I personally feel that UK needs to do that , it may hurt some religious sentiments but then so be it .  A Human life is more important irrespective of caste-color-creed-Religion.

20,000 yes that is TWENTY THOUSAND Police cuts, in the last few years supported by our current Prime Minister, she stood there talking about this  and when asked why , she said people asking questions are CRYING wolf, there is no danger .. Well the WOLVES are not only at the DOOR they have stepped inside.. the cuts have not helped and have put the police force under tremendous pressure .. in-spite of all these pressure’s I must applaud the wonderful job done by the Police , within 8 Minutes the three terrorists were SHOT dead.

A lot of questions need to be answered, in all three incidents the terrorist’s were known to the police , how was it still that a known terrorist still manages to create so much chaos, what about those whom the police DON’T KNOW.

Surly these people could not have done it all alone, someone somewhere has been helping them, or knew of these attacks.  These people need to be found and brought to justice.  BUT IN THE NAME OF GOD not the kind of JUSTICE that UK LAW talks of, giving a couple of years suspended verdicts. Harder-Harsher verdicts need to be given.

Those who are talking against these attacks and feel this is a atrocity against mankind, they need to come out and TELL, if they are not happy in UK then surly they need to go back to the nation they came from , where they think they will be happy and safer.

Amid all this chaos there are stories that have come out of people who came out and fought these cowards, Among them a Romanian man who did all he could , What a brave man.  The romanian man.. YOU SIR ARE A HERO.. and THANK YOU for being such a LOVELY HUMAN BEING. I have just found that your name is #FlorinMorariu .  Well done SIR.

The Transport police office who took on the Three alone, You sir saved many a life stopping these so called Human beings for a few moments, The off duty police office who did a rugby tackle..  Bravo guys you are Heroes and Lovely human beings.

Lets all prey together for the victims of this stupid ideology, Sadly 7 have died may they rest in peace and may all those injured get well soon. The people who have died are just not from london or uk But from many other countries, Canada-Australia-France.. So this attack is not just on UK but against humanity WorldWide against the Free world.

Maybe time has come where every country in the free world needs to come together, every individual who believes in free world needs to come together to fight this terror.  I don’t know what we can do or should do but I do know this that Lets Not be afraid, lets all get together and make sure we help each other in trying to root out these bad elements from amongst us, I would also plead and humbly request everyone to not categorize everyone in one bracket, because we can all together fight this evil with doing good.

TO fight evil we do need to make some tough decisions which may not be popular and may hurt some sentiments but we must understand time is now to embrace those decisions and stand together with one another and FACE THESE ATROCITIES.

Terrorist have struck again, Killing so many innocent people.  Again this day freedom and everything else along with it came under attack from fanatic people. I am still wondering what religion teaches all this hatred and killing of people. Who is that person who is spreading these teachings.  This time people in London had to face an atrocity which cant be defined,  I hope and wish all bloggers speak against this evil that has happened. In today’s day and age one can die if they criticize one religion but killing of innocent people, hijacking , murdering innocent KIDS who are supposed to be God’s face is STILL RIGHT… Such a barbaric attack which is a threat to the values and freedom of human beings.

My heart goes out to the victims,  No religion teaches killing of innocent people yet time and again in the name of religion so many innocent have been killed.

My heart goes out for those who have suffered,  and those who have lost their loved ones to this madness, nothing ever can justify the murders. No doubt this act has been religiously motivated I can’t see any other reason behind it ,

Which GOD has ever preached that killing of innocent is right.

In the after math I found some disturbing events, Media which is supposed to be responsible does this look like responsible, before the terrorist was identified they put up this tweet, to which i replied…

both

@nieuwsblog could not even bother to reply back or take back the words, its all marked under one ASIANS. ()

Let me tell you @nieuwsblog  I am a SIKH and an ASIAN but I am not a TERRORIST…

Well done to  for the way they reacted. I just hope and pray that we can live in a world where there is  Love for all, hatred for none  .

Instead of focusing on things that did not happen let us try to learn from what happened, It was great to see people rushing towards the victims to help them or give first aid, the response from the armed police and other agencies was commendable, make me feel safer.   Let us get together and praise those who did there best to help others in a crisis. If we all combine and get together defeating Terrorism will be so much easier.

Media needs to be more responsible and not put up tweets etc like the one above, without making sure what the truth is , the moment that Tweet by @nieuwsblog came out there were so many to follow, This in turn causes more issue’s because Every ASIAN is viewed with suspicious eyes which can never help in building up a stronger nation.

It is a shame that some out there are trying to take some mileage and usual pointing fingers which is not going to solve anything, hopefully the UK Govt. will take some hard steps to make sure such incidents are not repeated again.

We who have left our own countries and come to settle abroad need to make sure that we respect the ways of the nation , the nation that is providing for us given us opportunities to have a comfortable life, if we have our own personal problems than yes maybe we should go back to the countries where we think we will be better of.

The above lines are courtesy Punjabi singer Mr. Gurdas Mann.  The current scenario in the state of Punjab, in india.

My day usually begins at 6AM when the alarm goes off, bzzz bzzz ting tong… bzz bzz ting tong It is annoying and I keep the alarm away on the table so I have to get up to switch it off , else I would go back to sleep. I reach the gym about 6:30 and pass my time, showing off, trying to do some exercises. On the way back I visit Gurudwara Sahib (sikh temple), sit and listen to the baani. These days they have someone explaining the meaning of each line written in the holy Granth sahib (sikh holy book).

I usually sit for 5 -10 minutes listening, trying to get into the good books of God :) , I am not very religious, but today something got my attention, the guy was trying to say that the best way to get into the good books is to do SEVA of god. By that he meant helping in the Langar (dining hall where free food is served to all and Everyone), cleaning, feeding the sangat (people) and various other jobs that we can do in the Gurudwara sahib.

He gave an example that Guru Amar Das Ji before he became Guru was sevadar of Guru Angad Dev ji, He use to get up early morning every day even at the age of 72 walk the distance to Beas (one of the rivers in Punjab), Get water, bring back warm it, for Guru ji’s bath and this according to the person reciting was one of the SEVA Guru Amar das ji did.

But is it really all this that will make God happy, do we seriously think it to be true, I seriously don’t think this alone can do it, what about WHATS in your heart or Mind. Sometimes I try to sit and listen to the path, close my eyes to listen with full concentration, but it only lasts a few seconds before lots of useless thoughts start to come in mind, that’s human nature I think.

So by doing seva at gurudwara sahib, will all my bad deeds be rectified, I don’t think so, if it was, then all you need to do is do a bad deed and then go and do seva. There’s got to be more than that. Will god not be happy if we are a good person, go about doing our work without hurting anyone, helping others if we can ?

It should not be that we have to go to a religious place to do something to get God.

My thoughts are continuously questioned, a person is poor can’t earn money, I give him some money from the goodness of my heart, I have done a good deed helping him, He goes, spends that money on drugs, goes home beats his wife, kids or worse… Who is responsible Him or Me… If he did not have money this would not have happened… I gave… it happened so was it a good deed…

So in the end WHAT IS A GOOD DEED, WHAT IS SEVA… that we could do for our salvation…? I see people each day in morning saying “waheguru waheguru” loudly , then touching every shoe , cleaning them, doing various other things, Then the moment they come out of Gurudwara Sahib one can hear them “F-ing”, smoking, drinking, few of them are WIFE BEATERS, treat their Wife’s so bad, I am not making this up, I know for a FACT.

Come election times in the Gurudwara Sahib the same people come brandishing swords, shouting slogans, the person reciting and speaking himself was one of them, This also I know for a fact, Cause I was there when it happened, Police had to enter the premises with shoes on.

So coming back to the point what should a person do for salvation, to please the almighty, what is SEVA in modern days TODAY. Do the same rituals still hold?

Will me helping in Langar, or cleaning shoes or cleaning the carpets etc constitute as SEVA…

Just a thought……

PS:- This is a repost .

PPS :-  The earlier Photo post Love _ _ _ and Dhokha – Love story – err.. maybe. Was adjudged the spicy saturday pick at blogadda .. Thank you so much  Arvind Passey and BlogAdda.

I would like to ask a couple of questions from everyone who read this, Especially the ones who believe in GOD.. 🙂

I had gone to The Gurudwara Sahib,  as I entered there was a  huge list on the notice board with several names etc of people who had donated money for various reasons, The headline of the notice was “DAANIYAAN DI SOOCHI”.. ( name of people who have Donated”.

Although when we translate it in english it somehow loses the meaning of the word DAANIYAAN

It was a co-incidence that the Person who was reading from the holy book and trying to tell the meaning of the words written in Guru Granth Sahib ji, He made a startling comment on that headline too which sort of is still going through my mind, Hence the question Just wanting to know If I am right in thinking what it is.

We are all individuals so I am sure many of us will have different ideas on the question or maybe different interpretation..

What does Daan (donation) mean ?

Who is it given TO

Who is it Given By

Why is it Given..

That is it just a simple set of questions, although I might just start another controversy here once I tell the What I think and what the Guy said … (The questions are in context to God-religion.. Not otherwise)

Update:- Let me re-iterate the above questions are in context to God-Religion , What we donate to temples/ religious places in name of god etc.. Have our names in that list of Donateee’s , We say we donated to this religious place.

PS:- My previous post on justice for a child, here is the original court judgement and One my blogger friends has given a view from the lawyers perspective, which is quite good and She has given a good reply,  as to what and how the law of land works, which does need to change. A good point of view.

October 1984 was the day when humanity , brotherhood went for a six in a country which boasted of being the biggest democracy and even bigger in diversity.  Its been 27 years now to the day when the mobs were given free hand to do as they please in the wake of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s assassination, the mob whose one target was to find a Sikh and kill.. neighbours became foes. People who were there with you, for you in thick and thin before that day, The ones who boasted of friendship.

That massacre raises a lot of SERIOUS questions about the autonomy of  law and order machinery,  It all went for a six in those three days. Human rights had no meaning.  Then came another Blow , that too from a chosen leader who supposedly was educated and intelligent , Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, He had the audacity to say in his first public meeting that such things happen or are caused  by the fall of a mighty tree ,  Instead of  condemning it all it seemed he likened the carnage.

In the Drama that has unfolded over the years, lots of govts. came and went , each promising justice but that has never come I mean barely 10-15 people have been convicted for murders committed , the official death toll was 2,733 .. Where is the logic behind all this. How can this be justified ?

Does this not cast a poor reflection on the integrity of India’s criminal justice system ?

There has not even been a condolence motion to the victims of the 1984 carnage, the human rights in this country has suffered a terrible setback, Such is the disdain displayed by the highest institutions of India,  If such are the deals meted out to the people of this country what can we expect the country to do in case of foreign criminals doing the same to us in our own country.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh himself acknowledged in Parliament years ago that despite official inquiries into the 1984 carnage, “We all know that we still do not know the truth, and the search must go on.”

How is it possible, No wonder the indian people are loosing faith in their own country .  When other countries commemorated the 25 years of the bloodshed, India was still quiet as they were too wary of the fact that if  any sort of Commemoration is done for the victims, it would be an insult to Indira Gandhi

Is her Murder bigger then the Murders of  (Official numbers) 2,733?

Even when we were under the RAJ, The british publicly condemned General Dyer for taking the action against the innocent in Jallianwala Bagh, , a Public committee called “HUNTER COMMITTEE” was created, it was endorsed by the house of commons in UK, and Dyer was removed from the army unceremoniously. But India as a country could not do so, HAS NOT DONE SO, in spite of 27 long years gone by. So much so that Independent India has FAILED To measure up to the benchmarks set even by the Raj.

All this has done is give the  communal parties a big thumbs up, well we all know that these are the parties that organised the killings of Muslims in Maharashtra in 1993 and Gujarat in 2002.

We talk of Equality but is there any equality, when there is so much Indifference towards the minorities, I mean if Sikhs can suffer this, imagine what would a Dalit in an obscure village feel.

What does that tell us about the mentality of  the citizens who are still voting for those tainted ministers , I remember the words used by our neighbour in Chandigarh, In those days when the elections took place, She came over to our house and categorically shouted “VOTE PAO HATH NU”.. as the hand was a symbol for congress then and this was the neighbours with whom we had lived since I was born. With whom we were closer than our relatives. Yet when it happened there was only one reality Hindu – Sikh .. all the Love was forgotten.

To this day there are places where more proof of genocide are being discovered, even in January 2011 a place Hondh-Chillar, where 32 Sikhs were killed on November 2, 1984, was discovered in northern Haryana, and in March 2011 another place near Pataudi, was discovered.  The official death toll is much higher than that.

“The discovery of more Sikh massacre victims after nearly three decades shows the reluctance of successive Indian governments, despite numerous commissions of inquiry, to get to the truth and prosecute those responsible for the anti-Sikh violence,” said Meenakshi Ganguly, South Asia director at Human Rights Watch.

It is sad that there are cases being fought on foreign soil against the Congress Govt, Yet no one has batted an eyelid in the country itself.

The 2011 WikiLeaks cable leaks revealed that the United States was convinced about the complicity of Indian Government ruled by the Indian National Congress in the riots, and termed it as “opportunism” and “hatred” of the Congress government against Sikhs.

I wonder what is to become of this great nation, Will the culprits ever be charged for any crime or is it that only the common will have to suffer.

Life is so worthless, it holds no meanings sometimes .. anyone and anything can take it away in a jiffy…
What do we make of it .. What is Life .. do we know whats gonna happen in the next moment.. or DO WE EVEN REALISE WHAT EFFECT The PAST minute will have on the NEXT minute..

Harsh world out there..

God we say god protects those who are true or are good .. Then why do things happen like this ..

What is the meaning of all this ….

A car is going at high speed , when the idiot of the driver thinks he is Schumacher or something driving at a high speed on a single carriageway with a speed limit of 30MPH .. Which seems to be a SLOW for this driver so he decided to overtake and that results in loosing control for what ever reason…

The same time a 15 year old  male kid, who is a Jehovah witness , is standing on the Pavement , minding his own business OR maybe talking about GOD , he has no idea whats going to happen, His past minute was maybe sharing a joke with a friend, Talking to a friend.. ANYTHING it could be ..

The car smashes into this Boy, hits him around abdomen , takes him along as it smashes into the front wall of a shop behind the boy…

I cant imagine what would have gone through this Boy.. who had his whole life in front of him.. THE WHOLE BLOODY LIFE.. someone might have called ambulance.. ..

The boy had to be airlifted to a hospital more suited for such accidents there is a hospital just one mile down the road.. Helicopter medics took him to hospital about 7-8 miles away..

Then there was another problem , since he is a Jehovah witness , he refused to receive blood its against the religion.. news says the doctors pleaded for him to take it but he was adamant and his family supported his decision.. Resulting in his death…

The driver was arrested and later bailed ..

So WHAT THE HELL is this … do we stand a chance… we say bad things happen to bad people, what possible wrong thing could this 15 year old boy be doing.. Why did he have to end up like this.. and die in such horror.. while the driver had nothing… WHY

I have been really upset over this, people reading this you may call me a WUSS or a chicken or WHATEVER , I am not ashamed that i shed a tear when i heard this .. or i feel anger against God or the driver.. For taking away such a precious life…

And Anger against the parents who supported the boys decision not to take blood.. DAMN the religion.. All religion does is make people FIGHT.. Look what is happening in the world in the NAME OF RELIGION.

Please lets get together and prey for the departed soul hope he rests in peace away from this CRUEL-BAD-DIRTY world… and Also prey the people with cars know how to drive, learn patience on road.. and respect traffic rules , they are there for a REASON.

And yes HANG THE DRIVER…. its not a accident its a MURDER….  because A mother has lost her son, and Joshua had a brother. He has lost his brother, he was there in the morning and then gone by the afternoon. How do you explain , or how do we put this in perspective..

The doctors need to have a automatic right to override parental wishes or that of a minor for a LIFE.

Vaisakhi is one of the most significant days in Sikhism, It was this day in 1699, that the Khalsa was established.

I was at the Gurudwara sahib where some religious teacher was telling that When Guru Tegh Bahadur the ninth guru of sikhs was publicly beheaded by the Aurangzeb, the Mughal ruler. (Aurangzeb wanted to spread Islam in India, He was forcibly converting hindus to islam, So the Hindus got together and came to Guru Tegh Bahadur for help. and Guru Tegh Bahadur stood up for the rights of Hindus, the Mughals therefore saw him as a threat. Guru Teg Bahadur offered his life for the freedom of Hindus)

Thousands of people had gathered to see it , when the beheading took place it was chaos there, a sudden sand storm came, No one stood up to claim the body of the fallen Guru. But Bhai Jetha who was from a lower class, took advantage of it and managed to get the severed seesh (head) of Guru Tegh Bahadur to Anandpur sahib to Guru ji’s family. So when Guru Gobind Rai, then a child asked Bhai jetha how many sikhs were there, Bhai Jetha could not reply because of the chaos, sand storm and since everyone looked the same .. That is when according to this religious teacher the Guru who would become the 10th Guru of Sikhs Guru Gobind Singh, Said he would do something that a SIKH is recognised amongst millions…

and then in 1699 KHALSA was created and the 10th Guru became Guru Gobind SINGH from Guru Gobind RAI…

on March 30, 1699 hundreds of thousands of people gathered at Anandpur Sahib for Vaisakhi and Guru’s blessing, Guru Gobind Rai came out of the tent carrying an unsheathed sword. He gave a powerful speech to infuse courage amongst fellowmen. At the end of the speech he said that every great deed was preceded by equally great sacrifice and demanded that anyone prepared to give his life come forward. On the Guru’s third call, a young man offered himself. The Guru took the man inside a tent and reappeared alone with a bloodied sword. Guru Gobind Singh asked for another volunteer. This was repeated another four times until a total of five Sikhs had gone into the tent with the Guru. Everyone present was worried and though that Guru Gobind Singh has killed five Sikhs. At this point Guru presented all the five men before the people. Every one present was surprised to see all five men alive and wearing turbans.

These five men were called Panj Piara or ‘Beloved Five’ by the Guru. He then proclaimed that the Panj Pyare would be the embodiment of the Guru himself:

“Where there are Panj Pyare, there am I. When the Five meet, they are the holiest of the holy.”

And so, as it was carried out on that historic day, the ceremony of Pahul continues to this day. The Guru regarded the Panj Piaras as the first members of the Khalsa and the embodiment of the Guru himself. With the constitution of the Panj Pyare the high and low castes were amalgamated into one as among the original Panj Pyare, there was one Khatri, shopkeeper; one Jat, farmer; one Chhimba, calico printer; one Ghumar, water-carrier; and one Nai, a barber. The Guru gave the surname of Singh (Lion) to every Sikh and also took the name for himself. From Guru Gobind Rai he became Guru Gobind Singh. This was seen as a great step in national integration because society at that time was divided on the basis of religion, caste and social status.

Guru Gobind Singh also bestowed on Khalsa, the unique Sikh identity. He directed Sikhs to wear five K’s: Kesh or long hair, Kangha or comb, Kripan or dagger, Kachha or shorts and a Kara or bracelet. Guru Gobind Singh also discontinued the tradition of Gurus and asked all Sikhs to accept the Granth Sahib as their eternal guide. He urged them to come to him with their hair and beard unshorn to get baptized by the sword, and So the KHALSA was Born ..

A VERY HAPPY VAISAKHI TO ALL…
