Hello Everyone first of all thank you all for the well wishes and the emails , messages etc etc .

I have a small little proposal here , thinking of working for myself ,starting a small little venture So Am looking for some talented young people who are good in Programming.  We have a few clients here who want a system written, Which I have already started on.

So if anyone can refer Hard working-Capable- Loyal people who know  C#, Asp.net , Sql Server or even if they have skills in PHP using open source , etc etc Then I am looking to hire a couple of people who can work remotely in India and who can be trusted to work without a lot of supervision, because I don’t have time to supervise them at moment neither the funds to Hire a Supervisor.

Please do send your contact details etc. so we can set up some Skype meetings and take it forward.  I am planning to come to india shortly for the same purpose as already have a few people lined up.

The reason I am asking openly is because Since I am starting new I can’t afford to be duped hence all you lovely people refer me some genuine people.  I have heard a lot of stories how things have gone wrong for some who have earlier tried to set up something like this back home.

I will spec the project out and also can send over the work that I have done so far, I just did not get enough time with full-time work and my part-time stuff. But this project is very important and I am in process of signing on about a dozen clients, hence the need to send work offshore so it is completed on time.

A good opportunity for new graduates to try their skills.

Hello everyone.  I am not even going to attempt talking about where I have been and whats happened to the A to Z challenge. I am sure you guys are sick and tired of listening to my excuses by now … BUT me being me I will still Rant and Rave 🙂 he he he he

The last Two months have been so chaotic nothing has gone right for me, it seems God has some sort of plan for me or rather No plan for me. This circle of good years – bad years doesn’t seem to break.

Its been such a turmoil , such an extreme that I have gone from getting to stand on a Podium TO a few evenings where I thought whats the best way to kill Myself:), just could not find enough courage to go through with it, basically I am a coward 🙂 ..

Living in UK away from all the friends and family suddenly becomes such a pain, seems to be the worst decision made at such moments of life.

Again there have been some lovely human beings especially from the Blogworld who have been contacting and asking.. So thank you.. YOU LOVELY Human beings, god bless you all.

Here in UK we live in a funny world of human rights which seem to be very very partial towards those who actually are the worst enemies of human rights, Sadly I can’t go into the details of things that have happened.

As of Today I am no more working in the job I was ,for which I worked so hard, I have resigned from my job, I was hoping for some miracle but alas I am not lucky to have miracles. Right or Wrong I don’t know but I just got fed up of the way things were being treated. I was not going to say SORRY for something which I did with my heart and in Full faith that I was doing the right thing.

I am standing by myself but then isn’t that how life has become when things come to the crunch you find yourself standing by yourself, suddenly all those who use to be your best mates at some stage disappear.   The ones who spoke so lovingly about you are nowhere to be seen. I guess such are the way of the world. 🙂

On other hand today I also have a smile on my face and I feel relieved because at least in-spite of all that pressure I stood by my decision NOW we will see what others will do. PHEWWWWWWWwwwwwwwwww , let the funny games begin.  I am not going to say that it was the Right or Wrong decision because I did not want to be in a situation where I would be made to do something that I would not want to do.

I don’t know, it hurts to know that something that you did with so much passion for so long, even some of the people who loved me hated me for giving so much importance to this job, and something that you loved would come to an end like this..  Five years and then I am able to talk about the episodes that have happened and maybe then when everything is in the open I will get to know if all this was worth it or Not.

One of my old old Blog friends said this to me some time back .. HOW APT… ” when life pulls you,wrenches you, the same life hugs you and kisses you and love you back.. we just need to know to be strong and be positive about life. ” by Aswathy here.

HELLO everyone lately I have been bad at blogging , Don’t have much to write about these days and am trying my best to get back into the groove. Trying to catch up with all the old blogger friends and hoping against hope that they remember me too :). So Hello to all you out there who still remember me and those who have forgotten well Good job, you are not missing anything 🙂

I have no idea how many times over the last few years I have tried to get back or said HELLO again and again but then the reason for that is, I don’t like to say good-bye , I hate it , prefer saying See you, because who know where when one gets to meet again.

I love saying HELLO🙂 .

Why the word HELLO was invented, all those years back who thought or made the word HELLO, Why is HELLO the word that signifies a HELLO.

I have a theory, yes I know those who know me will say here we go again, I always have something to say 🙂 I think that the word hello was invented for this one only moment..

to start a conversation.. It was invented because when Mr. Bell invented the phone there was a need for everyone to pick the phone when it rang and say something..

What would be that FIRST word that one will say, there was nothing else to say .. so HELLO was invented, so people knew what to say instead of AHOY 🙂 OR YO.. or something else.

Here is something that I have noticed, maybe others have noticed too people have this habit, especially old people, they will say HELLO and then repeat the number ..

They say “Hello — 0203546363”..

You are thinking “YES I KNOW” .. I dialled that number .. You don’t open your door and say HELLO and repeat the house address.. it’s the same principle ..

or Sometimes they will ask “What number have you dialled “.. Well here is a theory if your phone is ringing and you have picked the phone, it is not ROCKET SCIENCE as to what number the other person has DIALLED. is there .. it is YOURS .. the same number of the phone that you have just picked and said “HELLO”

SO then all you lovely people what do you say when the phone rings and you pick it up..

On a complete tangent here is something to think off.. WHICH person thought or gave the idea of having the Emergency number as 999.. Imagine in the good old days when they had the phone where you had to pull the numbers all the way. To dial 999 it would have taken the Longest time.. 🙂 instead of 111…

How are you ALL DOING ….

2014 and also 2013 have been a roller coaster year for me , Lots to learn , Although I say that I learnt but I wonder DID I .. I can vouch i will make the same mistakes again as I am yet to learn the art of thinking from mind rather than heart. I am still letting my heart take a lot of control over a lot of issues and stuff involving me – my life. I wonder what is that mantra or HOW does one learn this art, as I mentioned the last couple of days have been very chaotic for some reason the start of every year has been very chaotic for me.

Here is an example remember the Gyan I gave on How to live and Die (2 and 3) I had mentioned about lending money , yes you can guess it right I went ahead and lent some more 🙂 , yeah SHOOT ME PLEASE SOMEONE, as I got carried away with the dialogues how I am like an elder brother to the person, How I am part of family , How he respects me blah blah blah. I just can’t learn from my mistakes, I know he is taking me for a ride a couple of my friends have told me that too buttttttt ALAS ME- MOI- MYSELF are just IDIOTS 🙂 (you guys who know me please stop nodding your heads)

So not sure if this post is valid or that do I have the Right to post this one BUT nevertheless here I go riding on my “god know’s what” cloud Sky high 🙂 yeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaa , Some of the things that I learnt if put in a funny way will include ..

I’ve learned that regardless of how HOT or STEAMY a relationship is at first Passion fades, and there had better be a lot of money to take its place …

I’ve learned that the people you care the most about in life are taken from you too soon.. and the less important ones NEVER GO AWAY

I’ve learned that The only people you need in your life are the ones that Prove that they need you in theirs

I’ve learned that You will never know how STRONG you are, Until being strong is the only choice you have left …

I’ve learned that there is a point in your life when you realise Who Matters, Who NEVER DID, Who always Will and Who wont anymore

and last but not the least …

I have learned that you can-not Make Someone love you.. All you can do is STALK them and HOPE they panic and give in.. 🙂

I was having this interesting conversation with a friend of mine, when the topic of Blogging came up specially Commenting.

A couple of interesting views came up

1.  I was asked how come I go and comment on a lot of blogs, even when it is seen that they probably never visit me or if they visit they don’t put a comment or even reply back to the comments I make.

Well I am sure I have replied to that umpteen times, I guess its in my habit (right or wrong) I don’t know , I always have something to say which sometimes has put me in trouble too.  I also feel that since the author has taken the time to write what they have written, maybe it will be good if we also read what they have written and give our two cents worth of view.

I am sure like I feel happy to see all the comments pouring in they too would feel good.

Although I must say I try my best not to write two-word comments as I think there is this culture in blogosphere that you comment on mine only then I will comment on yours, Which I have recently understood. I am sure a lot of people have written about this phenomenon a lot many times.

So Now I think I will have to change the way I look at this place too.

2. Indiblogger and Voting :-

On Indiblogger there is a forum called indivine where We can put our latest post . The people in your group then can come and Read it,  Now all this is fine but I have always had this problem with Indiblogger on the voting phenomenon.

I have been involved in a few nasty discussions too over time , But I can’t understand this VOTE thing.  What is it for.

Although to vote one has to open the post,  yet in my eyes if  as a reader I have opened the post then I should read the post fully, Why bother voting if  you don’t read the post.   It takes a lot of marketing skills to get lots and lots of votes.

I have realised that most just press the button again quickly to vote, hoping others will come to vote too. I don’t particularly like that idea as again I doubt if all who are pressing the VOTE button actually Read what one has written.

In my eyes I would much prefer people to come over , at least read what one has written and yes also let me know if they have liked or disliked ,they agree with what I have written or not agree, If people don’t tell that then how is one going to learn. How can one learn that they are doing a mistake, till someone points it too.

Blogging world has become a lot like attention seeking sorts.  This voting process seems more of getting a hit or traffic on your blog.

I am not the one to shy away from saying yeah I put my article up there , So people in my group know I have posted a new post. I am lucky many of the people do come and read what I have written which is a good feeling.

3. How come MEN or the male species don’t comment in that number on  blogs written by other Men compared to those written by the lovely ladies.

I had not noticed this until recently, It was pointed out by this good friend.  I did not know what to say . So I thought about asking everyone who visit here and read what all junk I write about, what is the reason.

I in no way am saying I don’t want the pleasure of the company of beautiful lovely people who already come , But why is it that the male version who I definitely see at almost every other blog written by ladies and whose blogs I do sometimes comment on , Not comment on this blog 🙂 .

Is it some sort of man thing , which I am not getting. Because I visit blogs irrespective if they are written by a woman or a man, would be fun to know the reply to that one . I think there is a Gender Bias in blogging too, I dont want to give examples and embarrass people but I have seen it happen.

What do you think people.. Do you feel the same way as I do, OR am I completely off my nuts as usual ?

Does it matter to you who visits your blog ?

Does it make you feel bad if people don’t read what you have written but just comment for the sake of it .. Or press the Like button. 

Do you feel bad when you see people whose blog you have commented,  they don’t even reply to you and WORSE still they Reply to every other comment but yours on their blog.. 

What do you do,  Do you stop going to those blogs.  ?

You can tell me that I am just being a moron 🙂

I have had a very adventurous life and have done a lot of stupid things in life and here they are.

1. Around 1992 or sometime then, One of my friends was getting married in a Punjab and around that time terrorism was still little bit left, Pillion riding was banned, so we went on our own bikes, reached the venue it was a late night wedding, enjoyed a lot had lots to drink, were all tipsy, someone decided let’s go back.. So off we went. On way back there was a roundabout on a GT road, usually you go around left, for some reason it was decided we go around the right side. As we did that OH MY GOD

God knows from where these Punjab Police Commandoes came, we could hear the click click of the rifles getting cocked… Get down… On the floor… It was scary… DAMN… We became sober in a second.

Thank god we were not shot, we had to plead the officer, show him our flying I-Cards to convince we were just playing around. They made us sit there for an hour before letting us go.

2. Final year exams, one of my friends decided to steal a empty answer sheet, so it could be used for cheating in the exam, I and Ravi my best friend went to the examination hall sat on the very first desks, next to the door… as the invigilator placed the answer sheet on first desk, Ravi got up, ran clutching the sheets, I ran after him, the teacher behind us shouting catch catch.. I was running after Ravi to make sure no one comes near because if caught this is a criminal offence and could be rusticated from university.  It is funny now thinking of it as Did the teacher not realise that even I have not returned back to the classroom.

3. On a nice Sunday morning four of us decided to go for a walk in the jungle (picture)  behind sukhna lake in Chandigarh, No one knew the way, obviously we got lost, whatever food, water we had finished, tired in middle of the afternoon we reached a lake, for some odd reason it was decided to swim through it rather than go around it, Sunil a friend was asked if he knew how to swim, he said yes..

There we go, took our clothes off put them in a carrier bag, In we went…we were half way in when there was a big splash, Sunil had run and jumped inside.. He went in, then his head popped up… and again down… OMG he had lied to us… we dashed towards him, Now Sunil is a 6ft 3 inches tall Big guy, Power lifting is his hobby I mean he is HUGE, I got hold of him he grabbed me , almost dragged me in with him. I somehow managed to get free.

Luckily there was this tree , sunil held on to it for dear life. The other two had come, I swam out, We took off our turbans, tied them up , threw it inside and pulled him out of water, a funny thing before that happened we asked Sunil to jump back in water and let go of the tree and we will pull him out, he replies “NO I am fine here “.. he he he he

He would have died that day. Later we met a villager he told us “Sahib Woh to das haathi Dob hai”. Meaning it’s as deep as ten elephants standing on top of each other.

4. Second year in college, we thought we were the bosses of college by then, One day instead of going straight to college I went to my friend Babbar’s house to go together with him, another mate Pummy was already there, as I entered they were pleased “oh good bikram you are here, we have a fight in university”, silly me didn’t even ask what it was, We went to our college to get hold of rest of the people.

I and one friend planned to go to uni to have a recce, to see what was going on, as we entered uni, next to the Gandhi Bhavan we saw a Big MOB, 100+, tall Strong, Sikh men standing. I looked like a kid in front of them, we did not take any notice of the guys at that time,  One of the guys in them was my Chachu’s(uncle)  best friend, I stopped to say hello to him, as we talked I asked him what are they doing as they studied in Punjabi university Patiala, his words were some idiots have threatened and challenged us to meet up here for a fight, OH MY GOD.. then it hit me ..

Then I realised they were the guys with whom Pummy had picked a fight. We were only at most 8 or 10 guys they were it seemed 100+. Never felt so alone in life, I quickly told him it’s us people who they were waiting for, I made up a story that I had asked my chachu to come too, so his friend said why, what’s the need since I was the nephew no need to fight, a compromise was reached. It was decided to get Pummy so he can shake hands on it, This guy got his car asked us to sit to drop us at our college gate, Believe me when I sat in the back seat I could see BATONS, SWORDS, HOCKEY STICKS, various other stuff.

I thanked god I saw this guy otherwise we would have got beaten black and blue that day.

5. A funny moment of madness, GT ROAD, Punjab, NCC Vayu sainik Camp held in Patiala, middle of the night someone decided we should run away from camp go for a walk, many of us got together, eloped into the night.

On to the road ANOTHER BRILLIANT idea struck someone lets walk naked on the main highway… Now imagine a group of boys, Naked, walking on the Grand Truck with cars blaring horns… the truck drivers using their dippers to full effect… We did that for a laugh but now it seems to be a moment of madness.

So lets hear what you guys have been up to , I would love to hear about them all. 2012 has started with a bang for me in context to blogging, I am so happy , have been waiting for so long to put this post up.   A post that I had written got mentioned and won a award. This has happened for the first time in all this time of blogging. So you can all see how excited I am …

Thanks to I.H.M.  and the judges who went through the gruelling effort of reading all the posts that were entered. so Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. It means a lot to me getting this award since there are umpteen writers out there much better than me and who write such beautiful stuff.  To have my name amongst them is indeed a proud moment for me ..

The best part is that IHM along with other readers of her blog, are planning to publish the entries as a Ebook and maybe a book too, Now Who could actually beleive out there That a article I WROTE would get mentioned like that, I DID NOT EVER Think that was possible..  So now looking forward to that too.  I am definitely going to get that book and keep it for myself and force my friends to Buy it too he he he .. so all you guys who are reading this get ready to spend some money when the book comes out.  🙂

I forgot to mention all the money , if any earned will be for charity …

Now 7 random things about me, Well I am sure everyone knows everything about me by now.

1. Along with the job that I do which everyone knows by now 🙂  I am a software programmer ,  this was not what I wanted to be, it came as a fluke to me … so the point which i am making that others don’t know is that it was a fluke, my first choice always was Indian army, but for some reason they did not want me .. I came to UK and got into the forces, how weird is this, not good for own country but good enough everywhere else.

2. I get angry very fast. I use to be a calm but life and experiences have made me what I am now.

3. I have survived a couple of near death episodes, So I thank god and my wellwishers for that.

4. I am very outgoing, I love outdoors dont get much time these days.

5.  I won a gold in All India roller skating competitions, And I was Second in Skeet Shooting competition, Also had a few awards in dramatics… (not many people know this.. This tag is going to get a lot of my mates really angry with me ) . I am very competetive and hate loosing …

6. My first job in India was as a teacher, and in UK was that of a security guard.

7. I was a bad boy in college so much so that my dad actually threw me out of the house :O…

There you go DONE.
