So this is what I was doing in Dublin for the weekend, After June issues and after I resigned I had time to get back to a few things that I liked doing, So I went to participate in the Open Competition in Carlow- Ireland, First time I have participated– did some Kata
from a total of 24 got 23.2 🙂 not bad for first time participation … and Also did Kumite.. it was fun , got some bruises tooo 🙂
but whats best is WON a MEDAL 🙂 he he he The 3 minutes round seemed like a lifetime.. I was constantly looking at the clock .. has it finished yet .. hast it finished .. finally the whistle blew it was all over .. 🙂 Phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyy … I said Wordless because I am really at loss of words ME.. the yeti, so unhealthy got prize 🙂 may the others were playing easy on me .. 🙂 .. hence a lot of words .. 🙂 🙂 .. Next year planning to go to MALTA and ROMANIA to participate .. fingers crossed 🙂 ..
Here we are , the 11th of November. I am going to start this post with the following I read long time back..

That is such a lovely thought , I know LIFE is such that you either love it or you hate it .. and those who love LIFE have a lovely life too and those who hate soon learn how to love life.
Today is a special day too as its Diwali so it seems the whole world is going to celebrate my birthday 🙂 and everyone knows how much i love fireworks, if I could I would light some fireworks all day long, since childhood i have been crazy about fireworks But sadly this year I am not celebrating Diwali due to a family mishap.
Since morning everyone has been sending messages -emails , whatsapp these days has become a necessity.
Before I get carried on let me first of all wish every reader and Visitor.. Wishing you-Your Family and EVERYONE Around you a very happy Diwali
I always say God has been very Kind to me, I am sure he has a special place for me 🙂 Over the years I have had some dreams , actually a LOT of dreams some have come true , some have got lost and hopefully Some more will get fulfilled as time goes on. So today is My birthday too 🙂
In college we had these dreams that as we grow old and start working, we will become independent , do this and that.. but it’s not that way.. as you grow responsibilities grow, priorities change , looking at the world differs, things which mattered than .. Don’t matter NOW. All those dreams we had, all friends will take up a job in same company and have fun but it was not to be. I am an average person. Everyone or well most people are confident in themselves to a level, but there is always self-doubt, should I do this or that , will I be successful, am I doing the right thing. I have my doubts at times. I also long for what everyone longs for Love, caress, appreciation, (you guys reading this write a comment HOW GOOD IT IS.. yes go on please please please .. he he he he )
In all these years I have done a lot of wild things, a few wishes have come true like
Wanted to fly….. did it ( gliding and then the Flying
Wanted to be a good at sports – I been in nationals for hockey
Wanted to visit places — work in progress, been to Spain-America-Canada-Australia- Brussels- Dubai-Singapore- France-etc etc.
Wanted to do a few of the dangerous sport activities Bungee jumping, parachuting, skydiving, Have done the Sky dive and NOW have given up the idea of bungee jumping , don’t like the idea for some reason.
I want to go to Disneyland in Florida.. Oh yes I do .. its nothing of being childish .. every person has a child hidden in them.. I do want to go and do it some day …
I also Want to do something like this 🙂 I want to Do this stunt myself .. I told my friend and they said “ARE YOU MAD“… But what fun it would be, and in case it goes wrong then No chance of surviving so all the better, because I would not want to be in an accident and live a broken life.
The one thing I am dyeing to do is go on a Safari in Africa , in a Hot air balloon, Imagine the drift flying you and then in the middle of it Pffft Pfffft Pfffft oooops the engine or whatever it is stops … and you are slowing going down.. down .. you look down .. GUESS what .. A PRIDE is watching with those sweet innocent eyes , tongues hanging out , occasionally slurping with the thought of fresh MAN MEAT .. YUMMY .. .
Another thing I want to do is drive all the way to India, Yes , drive it all the way to India..at some stages actually had serious talks with a group of maniacs like me to do it , we just did not have that much money to buy the cars , else we just might have done it .. Just imagine .. wow.. I am getting an adrenalin rush just thinking about it… A road trip exploring various places around the world, Turkey, Istanbul, Greece, Italy,Iran, Austria, Pakistan.. imagine the amazing places. I know a lot of people have done it so why not do it myself. ONE DAY GOD WILLING I TOO WILL.
More maybe next time .. What about you people out there anything ….

oh yes this reminds me of a couple of weeks ago when I went to ZIP WORLD which boasts of the longest ZIP line , The following is what they have on their website If you have not come across Zip World before – be ready for an experience of a lifetime! Zip World offers a unique range of adventures in the heart of Snowdonia.
This is about more than a Mile long Zip and one can reach speed up to 100 miles per hour.. The weather changed very quickly when we went , it was nice and sunny but then cloud came.
The Photographs have not come out good because we were all doing it and no one taking pics .. Got a couple of shots I hope they are good enough although I must say the experience was Worth it .. Although very expensive

Last month I went for an Air show and This is what I most want to do, and Never done before , Two things actually
1. go for an Air Show ( done this now )
2. Do this stunt myself .. I told my friend and they said “ARE YOU MAD“… But what fun it would be … Although I have done something similar to this, which I am going to showcase in tomorrow’s theme.
The girls looked all at ease but when they got out of the harness at such a height and did those stunts it was unbelievable .. then they walked the wing and sat in the cockpit.. I really really want to do that … heck you only live once .. whats the worst that can happen . NA I want to do it , adding it to my bucket list , I am sure somewhere in UK or USA they teach you how to do all that for sure 🙂 Anyone knows any place … Please Please leave a comment 🙂

I have had a very adventurous life and have done a lot of stupid things in life and here they are.
1. Around 1992 or sometime then, One of my friends was getting married in a Punjab and around that time terrorism was still little bit left, Pillion riding was banned, so we went on our own bikes, reached the venue it was a late night wedding, enjoyed a lot had lots to drink, were all tipsy, someone decided let’s go back.. So off we went. On way back there was a roundabout on a GT road, usually you go around left, for some reason it was decided we go around the right side. As we did that OH MY GOD…
God knows from where these Punjab Police Commandoes came, we could hear the click click of the rifles getting cocked… Get down… On the floor… It was scary… DAMN… We became sober in a second.
Thank god we were not shot, we had to plead the officer, show him our flying I-Cards to convince we were just playing around. They made us sit there for an hour before letting us go.
2. Final year exams, one of my friends decided to steal a empty answer sheet, so it could be used for cheating in the exam, I and Ravi my best friend went to the examination hall sat on the very first desks, next to the door… as the invigilator placed the answer sheet on first desk, Ravi got up, ran clutching the sheets, I ran after him, the teacher behind us shouting catch catch.. I was running after Ravi to make sure no one comes near because if caught this is a criminal offence and could be rusticated from university. It is funny now thinking of it as Did the teacher not realise that even I have not returned back to the classroom.
3. On a nice Sunday morning four of us decided to go for a walk in the jungle (picture) behind sukhna lake in Chandigarh, No one knew the way, obviously we got lost, whatever food, water we had finished, tired in middle of the afternoon we reached a lake, for some odd reason it was decided to swim through it rather than go around it, Sunil a friend was asked if he knew how to swim, he said yes..
There we go, took our clothes off put them in a carrier bag, In we went…we were half way in when there was a big splash, Sunil had run and jumped inside.. He went in, then his head popped up… and again down… OMG he had lied to us… we dashed towards him, Now Sunil is a 6ft 3 inches tall Big guy, Power lifting is his hobby I mean he is HUGE, I got hold of him he grabbed me , almost dragged me in with him. I somehow managed to get free.
Luckily there was this tree , sunil held on to it for dear life. The other two had come, I swam out, We took off our turbans, tied them up , threw it inside and pulled him out of water, a funny thing before that happened we asked Sunil to jump back in water and let go of the tree and we will pull him out, he replies “NO I am fine here “.. he he he he
He would have died that day. Later we met a villager he told us “Sahib Woh to das haathi Dob hai”. Meaning it’s as deep as ten elephants standing on top of each other.
4. Second year in college, we thought we were the bosses of college by then, One day instead of going straight to college I went to my friend Babbar’shouse to go together with him, another mate Pummy was already there, as I entered they were pleased “oh good bikram you are here, we have a fight in university”, silly me didn’t even ask what it was, We went to our college to get hold of rest of the people.
I and one friend planned to go to uni to have a recce, to see what was going on, as we entered uni, next to the Gandhi Bhavan we saw a Big MOB, 100+, tall Strong, Sikh men standing. I looked like a kid in front of them, we did not take any notice of the guys at that time, One of the guys in them was my Chachu’s(uncle) best friend, I stopped to say hello to him, as we talked I asked him what are they doing as they studied in Punjabi university Patiala, his words were some idiots have threatened and challenged us to meet up here for a fight, OH MY GOD.. then it hit me ..
Then I realised they were the guys with whom Pummy had picked a fight. We were only at most 8 or 10 guys they were it seemed 100+. Never felt so alone in life, I quickly told him it’s us people who they were waiting for, I made up a story that I had asked my chachu to come too, so his friend said why, what’s the need since I was the nephew no need to fight, a compromise was reached. It was decided to get Pummy so he can shake hands on it, This guy got his car asked us to sit to drop us at our college gate, Believe me when I sat in the back seat I could see BATONS, SWORDS, HOCKEY STICKS, various other stuff.
I thanked god I saw this guy otherwise we would have got beaten black and blue that day.
5. A funny moment of madness, GT ROAD, Punjab, NCC Vayu sainik Camp held in Patiala, middle of the night someone decided we should run away from camp go for a walk, many of us got together, eloped into the night.
On to the road ANOTHER BRILLIANT idea struck someone lets walk naked on the main highway… Now imagine a group of boys, Naked, walking on the Grand Truck with cars blaring horns… the truck drivers using their dippers to full effect… We did that for a laugh but now it seems to be a moment of madness.
So lets hear what you guys have been up to , I would love to hear about them all. Ok here are the rules those who take it up make sure you tag it to 5 people.
