I – Interesting Fact (ABC wednesday)

Butterfly Goodeid

Butterfly Goodeid :- This fish was supposedly declared “EXTINCT” until 1996.

They were discovered in a PUBLIC Swimming pool at TEUCHITLAN in Western Mexico.  The pool was a fresh water pool fed by a spring which runs in the Teuchitlan River.

Its habitat is that Single fresh water pool and hopefully they would be bred and re-introduced to natural habitat.
