About ME – Save water Drink Beer….

Posted: April 30, 2010 in Me

I have been wondering about myself.. You know we go to some sites they ask us to create our profiles etc , and then write something about ourself .. The dating sites.. Blogging sites.. etc etc (yeah before everyone raises there eyebrows.. I am talking general.. I dont visit dating sites OK OK not that OFTEN he he he )

So what do we write in there, do we know about ourselves so much as we think, or is it people around us who know us better.

Here is an attempt of what I think of myself Loads of people who read will differ because many of you have not met me.. or know me as a person.. But still I am assuming quiet a few would have a inkling of HOW I am.. “Liar, Honest, Pathetic, dependable etc etc .. “

I think of myself as a Normal, common man having same aspirations as millions have, nothing out of blue.. I just want to me a millionaire, have tons of girl friends he he he .. no jokes apart..

Really I never had very high aspirations, I never had a thought of coming abroad, Not even till my final year in college. I was a normal kid, not good in studies but ok in sports.. Always wanted to be in the indian army..

Sat for the IMA exams 4 times cleared Each time, but for some reason SSB interview I was not good enough and for some odd reason I come abroad and am a officer here.. Not going through the SSB interview was one thing that hurt me, cause had not thought of any other thing, always was so sure I will get through the army.. Even joined a coaching place , talked to a few officers , my uncle was a brigadier , he was like There is no way I WILL NOT get through, it was on the BOARD.. anyway it happened and it HURT…

I am very emotional I must say, I have tears coming sometimes when I am alone thinking of stuff just random stuff.. dont know if that is Pathetic or what…

I have made some wrong decisions and I accept them thats what makes us what we are Today I think. Its all these silly, stupid things we have all done while growing up that we Now KNOW are silly and stupid. If we had not then We would not know.

Back home in india I use to love going to movies or chilling with mates, We had such a big group, did some naughty things together, brings a smile on my face now.. HAve had a pretty decent life so far. I will one day sit down and Write about some of the things we did .. am sure will bring out a smile on all who read.

I miss people a lot, I remember almost everything that has happened so far, I can fairly remember the faces of all the people I know and there Names too.. And Yeah something weird I remember most of the Phone numbers. I also miss my home.

I hate people who are two faced, to me IF you have said something or you have promised something then its a MAN’s word why should you step back from it.

I am of the beleif that you should stand by your friends right or wrong, thats what friends are for, no matter what, I rarerly have made enemies but I am positive of one thing that if I cut off with someone then that person has no chance of being back in my good books 🙂

The only thing I hate about myself is that

Why am I so emotional

Why am I such a idiot

Why am I like this

Why does it matter to me if the world is collapsing, or the neighbours house is being burgled. Why do I have to stop when I see a guy following a girl and trying to pinch her purse or harass her, Who the hell is she or he to me .. WHY do I do that..

Why did I need to interfere when the guy who was drunk fell down on the pavement and Two other guys were going through his pockets and His mates who he had come with, were standing there being a spectator and Laughing over the stupidness of there friend.

These questions are constantly disturbing me, I constantly think of ways to change myself but I fail miserably …

Great I did say its difficult to write about ourselves .. don’t know what else to write anyway this was something about me… Now all who read know a bit more about me 🙂

Lesson 1:

A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower, when the doorbell rings.

The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next-door neighbour.

Before she says a word, Bob says, ‘I’ll give you $800 to drop that towel.’

After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob , after a few seconds, Bob hands her $800 and leaves. The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs.

When she gets to the bathroom , her husband asks, ‘Who was that?’

‘It was Bob the next door neighbor,’ she replies.

‘Great,’ the husband says, ‘did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?’

Moral of the story:
If you share critical information pertaining to credit and risk with your shareholders in time, you may be in a position to prevent avoidable exposure..

Lesson 2:

A priest offered a Nun a lift.

She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to reveal a leg.The priest nearly had an accident. After controlling the car, he put his hand on her leg.

The nun said, ‘Father, remember Psalm 129?’
The priest removed his hand. But, changing gears, he put his hand on her leg AGAIN.

The nun once again said, ‘Father, remember Psalm 129?’

The priest apologized ‘Sorry sister but the flesh is weak.’

Arriving at the convent, the nun sighed heavily and went on her way…

On his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to look up Psalm 129. It said, ‘Go forth and seek, further up, you will find glory.’

Moral of the story:
If you are not well informed in your job, you might miss a great opportunity.

Lesson 3:

A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp.

They rub it and a Genie comes out.
The Genie says, ‘I’ll give each of you just one wish.’
‘Me first! Me first!’ says the admin clerk ‘I want to be in the Bahamas , driving a speedboat, without a care in the world..’

Puff! She’s gone.

‘Me next! Me next!’ says the sales rep. ‘I want to be in Hawaii , relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Pina Coladas and the love of my life.’

Puff! He’s gone.

‘OK, you’re up,’ the Genie says to the manager.
The manager says, ‘I want those two back in the office after lunch’

Moral of the story:

Always let your boss have the first say.

Lesson 4

An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing.

A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, ‘Can I also sit like you and do nothing?’
The eagle answered: ‘Sure, why not.’

So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Moral of the story:
To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

Lesson 5

A turkey was chatting with a bull.

‘I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree’ sighed the turkey, ‘but I haven’t got the energy.’
‘Well, why don’t you nibble on some of my droppings?’ replied the bull. They’re packed with nutrients.’

The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree.

The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch.

Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree.

He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.

Moral of the story:
Bull Shit might get you to the top, but it won’t keep you there..

Lesson 6

A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field.

While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him.

As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out!

He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy..

A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate.

Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Morals of the story:
(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.

(3) And when you’re in deep shit, it’s best to keep your mouth shut!

THUS ENDS THE FIVE MINUTE MANAGEMENT COURSE

Wishes.. I had promised Madhu that I will be writing this, But been wondering about it and read a few other articles, Don’t you think that It would actually be scary if wishes did come true…

At some level, we are all afraid of change its weird to say, We all hope, pray, wish, live for our wishes to come true, So then how can it be scary, Well I think that if wishes do come true then there may be nothing to look forward to, Also it May happen that if they do come true they may not actually be WHAT WE WANTED 🙂 or they may not make us happy.. So yeah sometimes Wishes are good to have but Not fulfilled ..

#I wish life to go smooth.. hiccups are good but NOT at the rate they are hitting..

#I wish No evil or bad happens to my friends- well wishers, I wish god or who-so-ever is responsible for making wishes come true, makes this happen.

#I wish to be in two places at the same time.It will solve many issues (stolen from Madhu’s idea sorry)

#I wish to forgive all those who have hurt me deliberately or intentionally.. yeah sounds a bit of gandhism but no its got nothing to do with it.. Its as someone said The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.

#I wish the best for those who have stood by me, in my time of need, Those who were NO-ONE but now are SOME-ONE, wish them all the good luck.

#I wish to meet all the people who have put comments or visited my blog 🙂

#I wish my friends in India, the ones with whom i grew up, spent my college days, Babbar-Cherry-VikramSood-Ravi-Rajeev Everyone could come over to UK, to my house, Wow we will paint the bloody town REDdddddddddddddddddddddd. Got so many thing to do with them all.

#I want to become a bit worldly, I dont want to trust people the moment i meet them, I want to take time, I have met some wrong people whom I wish the best, but please god teach them a lesson.

#I wish i am Not accident prone.. god knows have had my share of mishaps and little skirmishes ..

#I wish i don’t loose my cool, when people talk back at you.. especially the people (well let me be BLUNT the ASIANS (Indians-Pakistani’s) , who when stopped suddenly see you as fellow asian and try to wiggle there way out. I have a story to tell but maybe in my next post.. Remind me someone .. 🙂

I just saw a status message on a profile , which said ” If life is a cycle…you will meet your past in the future

Well this has got me thinking.. BLIMEY .. if this is the case then all that I have gone through I might have to , go through it all over again. This scares me a lot because on that day either we will be repenting, laughing , being merry or happy … But the question is will we know what we did then was right or wrong… hmmmm think think

Or as I say if it happens then thats the best.. We can make the same mistakes again, because I am sure I doubt if we have learned anything so far , The fun part is making the mistakes but this time knowingly. 🙂

Some might say that if past catches up then it might spoil the future.. But I say that what we are doing in Future is actually based on whats happened in the PAST, moreover when the circle comes we wont know what the future is .. but we will know the PAST.

Am I making any sense or is it all Over head transmission (OHT) ..

I am sure we all have so many things that we wish we had not done, But we forget that we are what we are today Because we did those things. So all in all, All this is indeed a BIG ROUND CYCLE.. no start – no finish.

Are there any things that you want to come back, Or things that you dont want to come back. Come on bring it all OUT.

LIFE IS WHAT WE MAKE OF IT … Take my example its in front of you ALL OF IT.. Life is about CHOICES.. right and wrong are just perceptions of what it turns out to be.. So nothing is right or wrong.. its the result which decides that …

I have always wondered what it would be, Or how it would be if I had chosen the other answer, But that is life one will never know how it will be if we choose the other side, all we can think is WHAT IF

We prey to god hoping for best, But then if we think hard all these decisions are already decided for us , someone up there has already written the script, all we can hope is that when he was writing the script he was in a good mood, But then god loves everyone the same, so it should be good for us.

The question is what are these choices , what is wrong or right.. Sometimes in life It’s Difficult to Decide what’s Wrong… A Lie that draws a smile on our face Or the Truth that brings tears in our eyes… Reality is always the same. Cold, correct and static.

So if we go by the above then no decision is WRONG decision, it is wrong if it goes wrong only then and right otherwise. Every decision is correct decision. While we are all aware that life is full of tough decisions that need to be made, we may not realize that hasty decisions may not always be the right one.

I had posted a article a few weeks ago on Decision Making , Now I understand more, a few things about, why life treats me the way it does. Perhaps I’ve been the child on the disused track, suffering at the hands of so-called “Well- intentioned”, illogical people ramming me with trains because of callous people like the kids on the used track.

We cannot change our fate, whatever has to happen will happen ,it is bound to happen, we can do our best to make sure minimum loss is made. And take responsibilities on the decisions we take, right or wrong .. Cause every decision we make has some sort of effect on us , on the people around us , on the people around those people around us. Its like the domino effect every decision has some sort of effect.

Sometimes we take a decision which we may realise later on in life that it was wrong, we cant go back on it but it is tough or its a man thing to accept it and the person who accepts that they made a Wrong decision is a much bigger man/woman.

I am not sure what I am trying to say in this note but all I wanted to say is that all who read this , think about your decisions , whatever you have decided THINK AGAIN.. Not asking you to not take any but hey if you think you have made a wrong one then accept it, no harm in that, it wont make one a smaller person.

anyway enough of my ramblingsssssssssssssssssssss….

(A few of the statements have been taken from others but they were just the right words for me, so I am sorry to have done that.I could not have found better words to put them in)

100th Post and Good bye’s

Posted: April 18, 2010 in Uncategorized

I started blogging in October 2009, the first blog I wrote was on making a Life is All about ASS.. Making a ASS of oneself.. Which i am sure I have made of myself a lot many times.. this all started quiet exciting, but as time went on I have got bored with it.

I wont say blogging happend for me, It did not , Someone introduced me to it .. To them I am very thankful.. Over Time I made a lot of friends.. some very dear ones.. and Some over the time have stopped being friends. I love you all and I always prey God Blesses each one of you. (ha ha ha Has anyone got it so far.. What is going on.. )

I did not think I would be stopping, I got so much stuff in my drafts.. But this being the 100th post, makes it perfect to stop .. they say you should stop when on top.. so what better time then the 100th post .. I have been sitting here since day before thinking what to write and for the life of me .. I could not think of anything, hence the thought that Time to leave.. (I am sure at this moment, i am definite of one person who is Grrrrrrrrr’ing)
That day..is TODAY! Sorry for dropping this announcement out of the blue

UPDATE:- This is getting really sentimental.. here .. reading the comments PEOPLE, Read between the lines … GOD… (right I thought someone will get it .. But it has not.. )
Selecting the TXT is Good idea ………..

Update 2:- Friends, My dearest Bloggers..Listen… Gaurav has a comment 🙂 (Please dearies Select the TXT and See the NOTE.. Sorry If i am laughing and you all are Grrrriiiinggggg, but hey 100th post, so had to make it special)

I am devastated, angry and god knows what .. It amazes me , YEAH it does amaze me everytime i read a story like this that how much more can we stoop down to..

In mumbai a girl , a newly born girl is left with the mothers sister, while the parents divorced and left to settle somewhere else, this girl grows to 12 years old and now it is revealed that she has been continously RAPED for a year and half.. by her own cousin, The mother’s sister SON. The son then involves others too.. Including a 71 year old.

This was all in the news on 23rd march 2010, what has irked me more is that all the 5 or 7 accused have been granted bail, and the The 71 year old ailing bastard who could rape a girl younger than his grand-daughter get bail, the defense lawyer wants bail for him… “Sharma is ailing and has to overcome the trauma of facing the allegations against him” the lawyer said.

Is this Defense lawyer MAD or what .. has he not got any sort of heart, has he not got females in his household, or is the MONEY that he will get for fighting this case so important.

Can some SANE person please tell me , why did the JUDGE grant him bail, how pathetic can it get..

The lady judge, Malwani Pawar, granted bail to the five arrested persons—Jamuna Prasad Sharma (71), Jitendra Yadav (25), Vinod Yadav (27), Vakil Ahmed (27) and Premchand Pandit (35)—after each of them paid Rs 35,000 as bail surety.

– First of all this is going on for so long, where was the AUNT.. did she never suspect anything…

– Then there is the school which had the following statement to make

“The staff informed me that the girl was very innocent and an average student. But there were occasions, they said, when she would take 2-3 days leave without informing the school. But we did not realise the matter was so serious. Had the school management learnt about it we would have taken severe action against those guilty,” principal (Marathi medium) S M Deshmukh

Should they not have enquired from the GIRL herself, when she did come back to school , Where was she, informed her AUNT at least about her missing the classes and school

I really want to give a STANDING SALUTE to this school, they are doing a wonderful job with the schooling.

– The lodges where the girl was taken for the pure-beautiful-lovely work, The owners did they not ask why a 12 – 13 year old was coming with different MEN. Will someone ASK them this, They are as much responsible…

– The parents When will someone hold them responsible, is it not a duty of the PARENT till the child is ADULT.. Should they not be questioned.

Police not sure what they are doing, but thankfully they are not torturing the poor girl to change her and make money from the accused, I am assuming this , I dont know.

Then on 2nd april there was another case against a 25 year old woman and The Pune gang rape case will be shifted to a fast track court, home minister R R Patil said in the legislative assembly.

NOW look at the situation a home minister involved, and in the case of the 12 year old nothing , the accused get BAIL..

When will we hang our heads in shame.. WHEN ..

What do we think should be the punishment, Rather HOW CAN WE PUNISH them when the so called lawyers who have read law and know its abouts .. they get the bail done with a pathetic statement that “Sharma is ailing and has to overcome the trauma of facing the allegations against him,” . WHAT TRAUMA what the F&%$ was he doing when he was inflicting the TRAUMA on the little girl..

All these political parties, The Thackreys, The Congress The rest of the CLAN.. create a ruckus over pathetic things as we know… NONE of these so called leaders have said anything.. DO they not read these news, How come they are all shut , I guess too busy in doing things for the prosperity of Mumbaikers.. Or finding something to be in the NEWS… This is what is happening in the City is someone interested or bothered …….

What has this world come to OR AM I TOO STUPID TO THINK OF THIS

Mahatma Gandhi as we know was the best politician the world has ever had. Politics is the art of gaining what you want even when you are weak… But why call Gandhi as mahatma I have not understood that, Because as far as I know or as history tells us neither his actions nor his character were impeccable. He did have a few skeletons in his cupboard too.. The Book Anyway I was going to write on who to blame about the situation Our India is in..

I have been reading a lot of news about how people have made or its become a tradition to blame Mr. Gandhi for it all.. Rubbishing Gandhi has become an unofficial national pastime, with each change in political scenario in the country these facts and slogans and Tamasha changes.. according to the will and wimp of the political parties ideology.. But whatever I have learned or did, Gandhi has to be blamed for some of his ways, He was not perfect.. he did make quiet a few mistakes, who doesn’t, So whats wrong in blaming him, after all don’t we hear it that we Should be responsible for our actions.

Gandhi no doubt was a very good manipulator, a Politician par excellence.. I don’t deny that, But what I am against is giving a man so much importance when there are others who are equally deserving or MORE. So if they don’t get what they deserve then why is one man singled out for all this respect, If he said that youth like Sardar Bhagat Singh are damaging the image of the nation, then So did he.

March 23 came and went it was the 69th anniversary of the martyrdom of Shaheed Sardar Bhagat Singh. The reason I am mentioning him is that in those turbulent times.. It was him who was as popular as Gandhi, I will say More then him, that is why the conspiracy theory that Gandhi did not do his best to save him from the gallows.

I myself feel that it has become a mockery with the way history has been changed, manipulated on what Bhagat Singh and many others did and How it helped the bringing of Independence. It is not correct to compare the paths of Bhagat Singh and Gandhi, even when the goal was same.. It is so very wrong to think that it was the Non-cooperative movement was the only reason which made British to Leave India, the movement started by Gandhi. I think it was the both the Revolt to take arms, the anger plus the movements of Gandhi that made the British understand that the time was ripe to vacate the Asian subcontinent for good

The likes of Sardar Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekar Azad, Rajguru ,Udham Singh and Plenty more whom history has forgotten who embraced death in their early age They were all Jewels of the country conveniently forgotten by History Manipulators.

As I mentioned earlier because of political changes history has been so badly manipulated that we still think that it was only the indiscipline and non-cooperation movements started by Gandhi only helped in Independence, and this is religiously followed in all walks of life in India even to this day. WE forget that Today the same Congress , the KHADI wearing people , The so called people who are following Gandhi principles are the worst enemies we have… and These are the people the young fire brand freedom fighters cautioned us about..

Update:- the spelling in the title are worng I kno .. WHAT Independence!!!!

Vaisakhi is one of the most significant days in Sikhism, It was this day in 1699, that the Khalsa was established.

I was at the Gurudwara sahib where some religious teacher was telling that When Guru Tegh Bahadur the ninth guru of sikhs was publicly beheaded by the Aurangzeb, the Mughal ruler. (Aurangzeb wanted to spread Islam in India, He was forcibly converting hindus to islam, So the Hindus got together and came to Guru Tegh Bahadur for help. and Guru Tegh Bahadur stood up for the rights of Hindus, the Mughals therefore saw him as a threat. Guru Teg Bahadur offered his life for the freedom of Hindus)

Thousands of people had gathered to see it , when the beheading took place it was chaos there, a sudden sand storm came, No one stood up to claim the body of the fallen Guru. But Bhai Jetha who was from a lower class, took advantage of it and managed to get the severed seesh (head) of Guru Tegh Bahadur to Anandpur sahib to Guru ji’s family. So when Guru Gobind Rai, then a child asked Bhai jetha how many sikhs were there, Bhai Jetha could not reply because of the chaos, sand storm and since everyone looked the same .. That is when according to this religious teacher the Guru who would become the 10th Guru of Sikhs Guru Gobind Singh, Said he would do something that a SIKH is recognised amongst millions…

and then in 1699 KHALSA was created and the 10th Guru became Guru Gobind SINGH from Guru Gobind RAI…

on March 30, 1699 hundreds of thousands of people gathered at Anandpur Sahib for Vaisakhi and Guru’s blessing, Guru Gobind Rai came out of the tent carrying an unsheathed sword. He gave a powerful speech to infuse courage amongst fellowmen. At the end of the speech he said that every great deed was preceded by equally great sacrifice and demanded that anyone prepared to give his life come forward. On the Guru’s third call, a young man offered himself. The Guru took the man inside a tent and reappeared alone with a bloodied sword. Guru Gobind Singh asked for another volunteer. This was repeated another four times until a total of five Sikhs had gone into the tent with the Guru. Everyone present was worried and though that Guru Gobind Singh has killed five Sikhs. At this point Guru presented all the five men before the people. Every one present was surprised to see all five men alive and wearing turbans.

These five men were called Panj Piara or ‘Beloved Five’ by the Guru. He then proclaimed that the Panj Pyare would be the embodiment of the Guru himself:

“Where there are Panj Pyare, there am I. When the Five meet, they are the holiest of the holy.”

And so, as it was carried out on that historic day, the ceremony of Pahul continues to this day. The Guru regarded the Panj Piaras as the first members of the Khalsa and the embodiment of the Guru himself. With the constitution of the Panj Pyare the high and low castes were amalgamated into one as among the original Panj Pyare, there was one Khatri, shopkeeper; one Jat, farmer; one Chhimba, calico printer; one Ghumar, water-carrier; and one Nai, a barber. The Guru gave the surname of Singh (Lion) to every Sikh and also took the name for himself. From Guru Gobind Rai he became Guru Gobind Singh. This was seen as a great step in national integration because society at that time was divided on the basis of religion, caste and social status.

Guru Gobind Singh also bestowed on Khalsa, the unique Sikh identity. He directed Sikhs to wear five K’s: Kesh or long hair, Kangha or comb, Kripan or dagger, Kachha or shorts and a Kara or bracelet. Guru Gobind Singh also discontinued the tradition of Gurus and asked all Sikhs to accept the Granth Sahib as their eternal guide. He urged them to come to him with their hair and beard unshorn to get baptized by the sword, and So the KHALSA was Born ..

A VERY HAPPY VAISAKHI TO ALL…
