Samajwadi Party leader slapped for taking oath in Hindi; 4 MLAs suspended for 4 yrs Mumbai, November 9
Eager to prove that they meant business despite their insignificant strength in the Maharashtra Assembly, the 13 MLAs of Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) marked the first day of the new Assembly session by assaulting Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Abu Azmi inside the House.

While Raj Thackeray has threatened “action”against MLAs who take their oath in any language other than Marathi, Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi has stated that he would do so only in Hindi

And this is from the GUY who had a Statement the other day saying that the muslims who have problems with VANDE MATRAM should go to Pakistan, This means that what the clerics say about Vande Matram is correct, they have the right to air there views, We dont have any right to tell them they are wrong. I mean What is this .. A MLA is being slapped for taking oath in HINDI. How stupid can that be.. As far as i remember the constitution of India gives every citizen the Fundamental right of free speech, to make matters worse the guy who is slapped is a CHOSEN candidate, CHOSEN by the people. So basically these people have slapped the people who chose there representative worst of all is One Member took OATH in English.

So what are we saying Hindi is below English, which is not even OUR Language, When i wrote a blog saying we are in so much of a AWE of white skin, I was right then. We slap a elected representative for taking oath in hindi, But not the one who took it in English.

How can this be going on, Why are we not doing anything against it.
I think In punjab every body coming from Mumbai should be forced to talk in punjabi or asked to leave the state, same for Haryana and the other States.

The question is What is the national language of India. Is it HINDI or is it state driven, It really disgusts me , If I fly to India, Land in Mumbai will i need to speak in marathi. Or if I land in Delhi I will need to talk in hindi ,Punjabi if I land in Amritsar.

Mind you all this happened inside the Assembly, I mean do these people have NO SHAME for what they do, Inside the very house they are chosen to represent. What is happening to this country have we fallen so low that we try to pick any issue to get headlines, targetting the VOTERS .

Will the Leader of this PARTY take Moral responsibility of what has happened, WILL HE OR WILL HE NOT. Will these people do anything just to be in headlines. Who gives them the right to do this and get away with it. If we insult our national flag it is a punishable offense by law, THEN why should this not be punishable, This same leader had problems with the indian cricket team doing some sort of act against the national flag in a foreign country, he had a lot to speak then. Why have these people not been arrested and SHAMED. There fundamental rights should be withdrawn , they should be treated like a common criminal, brought to justice and JAILED.

I am from punjab so what should be my mother tongue PUNJABI cause i am from that state or should it be HINDI cause I am indian.

EVERY indian should know the honour of there country, should respect their country, NO one is above the country, NO ONE. I strongly believe that every indian should serve in the army for a few years, it should be compulsory. There should be rules and LAWS which should not be spared for anyone. EVERY one has to be answerable to LAW. Every citizen has to give something back to the country.

This news has really disturbed me a Lot. What say people when I say that we indians always put our fellow indians down with pleasure, We feel proud of doing anything and everything in doing it, It seems we will never learn from our mistakes, We will keep doing the same things over and over again.

Next we will be hearing how a person was slapped cause they were talking in hindi especially in Maharashtra, oooops I might be in the firing line for writing this blog in English.

Good night guys its 9:40 PM here in my part of the world Hope we can wake up if we want our country to progress but with leadership like these MLA’s , political parties like the one who do such acts, WE DEFINITELY CAN’T.

A hundred people arrived to be interviewed by a company looking to hire psychics. Stock certificates from 5 different blue chip companies were placed in 5-drawer cabinet, 1 in each drawer. The psychics were asked to predict which stock was in which drawer. In order to meet new Govt. regulations the company would only hire psychics who correctly predicted the contents of 4 out of 5 drawers. After the psychics made there Prediction and the drawers were opened the company found

7 psychics got none of the drawers right.
13 got only 1 drawer right
22 got only 2 drawers right
39 got only 3 drawers right..

HOW many psychics did the Company HIRE

Punjab- Mera Punjab

A week ago I got a phone call at 3AM in morning , My maasi had called him up.. and We know how it is when the phone rings so early, I got up picked the phone up

“Hello Hello”.. and the other side was “HEllo Hello” ( Why is it like this when we have a phone call its hello hello .. )

“Tyari Kar Lao.. February, Guggu da viyah haiga”.. (Get your stuff ready for February its a wedding)

Yeah I know sense of TIMING.. in India it was 8:30 in morning so its 8:30Am everywhere, I have told numerous times but no use… Anyway after the initial excitement well there’s not mine I am still drowsy, sleepy and thinking I need to sleep.. I put the phone down and GUESS WHAT ..

I can’t sleep now all those beautiful memories come flooding back to me, The good old days as they call them.. Every Summer holidays 16th May to 2nd or 3rd August, were spent in my village in Punjab. mmmmmmmmmm the freshness still very FRESH in my mind.. Our Village is situated at a very unique location, and our house is in our fields just on the outskirts of the actual village.

It has the Two rajasthan feeders running about 800Mtrs to the right of our house, there is a small canal which passes through our village, that is just there in front of the main door, it used to be kacha first now they have made it concrete (I hate it cause one of the things we did was take our domestic animals cows, buffaloes, ox etc etc for a drink to it.. and Jump in the water ourself , Now we cant do it)

It was so good to be there, The openness, I was a spoilt boy then cause i had come from chandigarh and it was like i have come from a foreign place, Any house you went to offered me Milk, Then the horrific time during the terrorism days, I remember one day My dad had come back home , he walked up to me, asked me to go to the barbers to get my hair cut off, cause punjab police at that time was targetting sikh youth picking them up , killing them in false encounters, luckily my grand-dad intervened stopped me doing it.

But in those days too the punjabiyat in punjabis did not get less, the whole village was one, there was nothing like a hindu house or a sikh house, I remember going to everyones house all the time getting glasses of Milk to drink, GUD (dont know the english word for it) , then a roti mashed with Desi ghee and lots of Shakar in it called choori..

Its funny remembering all those times ,we say we have advanced so much now in our village we have Phone lines, Internet has come to the school, Pakka roads, Electricity and Clean water .. This has all arrived over the few years .. But that LOVE, AFFECTION, CARE has somewhat diminished , gone down to a large scale..

People i guess have become more busier, no one has any time for each other, Gone are those days when My nana ji use to take me along with him to the centre of the village where a lot others were sitting playing cards, chess etc.

The pride in showing off the pair of OX or the pride with which a tractor was kept, washed daily , has paved way to the new SUV’s, the Prado’s. All this advancement is great but where has that LOVE Gone.. I still visit the houses i visited when i was a child but the only difference is now i am asked “CHAH Piyenga” .. the forcing of glass of milk, watching me finish the glass has gone. No more choori…

At night the menfolk would get together burn a fire during winters , we would pull the CHOLIYA ( green chick peas) plants and put them on fire, this would roast the pods of peas they were delicious.. Now we got TV so we sit indoors watching some stupid program coming.

I go back now , to meet people many of them are not at home, they have gone to cities for work, Sometimes i ask who will do the farming if all are going out.

It WAS so good, I remember One time when i got a Slap from my grand-dad, he has never slapped me ever but i remember this one, I don’t know whats it called in english but there use to be this bush of tall grass like , which use to be cut and then the upper layer of the shoot use to be peeled off, it was then braided to make ropes etc, the part of the shoot that was left use to have a hole in middle it was hollow, I was growing up seen a few films , hero’s smoking without thinking I went behind the house lit the shoot and tried to PUFF in the smoke .. to my horror it was not that good also to my bad luck my grand-dad had seen it, he walked over to me I got a slap so hard I remember it to this day.

These days parents are not bothered what there kids is doing.. so many youngsters have take to smoking …

Oh How i long to be there to eat the Makki di roti with sarson da sag,
the permutations and combinations Tactics made to how to go into the sardar Ram Singhs land where he had a field of sugarcane, How to go in there get the GANNE , without being caught…

How to go unnoticed to the BERI that was in Maghar Baaji’s land to collect all the BER to eat… Get the Oranges … WE were typical RAMBO’s camouflaged..

The jumping into the rivers for a dip then getting out, applying all that mud on our bodies , laying in sun till it dried then jumping off, Now people spend so much for a face uplift , wake up people we did it for free on the banks of the rivers ha ha ha ha

I can go on and on ..

PUNJAB.. MERE PUNJAB NU NAJAR LAG GAYI KISSE DI

AO SAARE RAL MILKE IK HUMBLA MAARIYE , KUCH KARIYE .. OH PURANE DIN WAPIS LAI KE AIYE…

ZARA DHOLIYA DHOL UTE DAGA LAIN OYE
HATH RAKH KAN UTE BOLI TUN PAIN HOYE, PHUL KHIDIYA SAB DE MAN BHAUNDA
PUNJAB MERA RAHE WASDA

INDIANS IN UK Part 2

Posted: November 2, 2009 in Uncategorized

Setting the record straight The previous article was not india bashing it was more of a question about why people who come abroad treated like this.

I am sure i asked questions

why is the foreign money very good and the person earning to send a looser ?

Why are the nri grooms / brides most wantede ?

Why if i have a british passport i am called a sir with a smile ?

Why does the concierge at a five star hotel wanting a pound in english currency rather than the indian currency?

Why does a famous hotel wont accept indian currency but will accept foreign ?

Why is it that quiet a few youngsters willing to take all the risks to come abroad?

Why was there chaos at the embassy when uk high commission closed its office a bit early?

Why is there such mad rush to come abrroad, is it worth dieing like so many do on ther way here ?

Why were a few all ga ga over ms chawla who was american but of indian origin who went to space suddenly there was mad rush to cash in on her name cause of her indian origin. I am sure i will be quoted wrong here to.

Why are we called loosers is my question WHY are we accepted when it suits and called loosers otherwise pardon me but in my book there is a name for such people who say something else and do something else.

All that is required is a bit of respect if not as fellow indians then maybe as a foreigner dont see that happening cause then the eyes fall on the similar brown skin and not the white.

Well i may be a looser to have come abroad but atleast i am respected by people who are not my own while my fellow beings and my fellow country human beings think so bad.
Maybe it is me who is a looser but i am happy.

I am sure our fore fathers taught us to respect fellow human beings i guess with so much happening around us we have forgotten theb basics. I am happy we are following the western way.

Thank you all who read this.

Indians in UK- Loosers

Posted: November 1, 2009 in indians, Loosers, UK

I was having a chat where in I was told that people who leave india to settle abroad are a bunch of loosers also Recently a friend of mine pointed out to me that I work for the BRITS, so why should I get angry at things happening in india. I think why not

If I have come to uk does it mean I have lost my individuality, If I work for a british company then does that mean I have become a traitor or something on those terms.

I came abroad cause I knew i could not have done anything in india. I would not have a Job to start with. Cause I was not a bright student, in india its all about MARKS, SIFARISH, RISHWAT. I had none of the three.. so either i stayed there to somehow manage through my life.. OR I come here to do something.

It so happened that when i arrived here I got a job with a firm as a programmer, I went to the interview the person who interviewed me did not look at my certificates, A few practical problems were put in front of me to solve. Thats it .. I was offered the Job. So all those marks etc were good enough for a Foreign firm.. but not for companies back home.

My granddad had this passion to see me go into army, I cleared the IMA exams appeared for SSB interviews to be told that i was not good enough for the indian army. ( I will give a example here , One person got selected he was known to me , during our four days stay for the SSB, we as a group went to see the city , the SSB was in Dehradun.. We had gone to see some caves and there was a Mandir.. Now this guy refused to go in the mandir saying he is a SIKH.. he still got through and now is a major I think and OH I Forgot he was also the Son of a Lt General.) No more comments on that issue … Pity my dad was not One…

And yeah I also Cleared the Dy Commandant exams , but My bad luck my parents could not afford paying 12 lakh Rs as was the going rate at that time, I guess its there FAULT.. they should have sold some piece of land to pay some Arsehole so I could be selected …

Here in Uk I am working for a multi national firm, I also work for the Police, I managed to get through the interviews everything , I was not good enough for my own countries Army but good enough for a foreign countries Police force.

Just because I am a indian and I DONT work for a indian firm does that make me not Indian anymore. ?

People in India from one state to another, think they are going to a foreign place ask anyone from UP or Bihar they will call there State as there DESH.. They come to punjab to earn a living, They say while returning back home “APNE DESH JA RAHE HAIN”. Does that mean they are not Indians.

So why are we demonised if We have come to UK or USA to work and Earn a living.

Why are we criticised if we speak against something in India, Why ..
We have the same right to speak out.

No one says No to the money I give or the free work I do for Indian charities,
Why are NRI’s so much wanted for grooms or brides, Suddenly we are Indians.
But on the other hand we are not good enough cause we chose to settle abroad. It hurts me when that happens, is that making me selfish or the people who are using me selfish.

I reach Delhi airport, there is me standing along with a foreigner , at customs it takes 2 seconds for his passport to be checked , that too with a SMILE and Good Evening by the Custom Official, My turn comes I takes 10 to 15 minutes to go through my passport, under the UV light, this side that side, A UGLY LOOK as I am a criminal , I say Hi.. No response forget about the smile.. AM I BEING HYPOCRITE HERE OR SOMEONE ELSE. I had the same experience EVERYTIME I came on my Indian passport, Now I got british I get the Same smile and sometimes a SIR tooo.

If I am voicing my views about the corrupt practises in India, I am told that this is not good I have left india so I am a good one to speak about it.

Maybe I AM A LOOSER THEN… hurts me to feel that my own people are saying this about me , ah well I guess another reason to have come here at least here in uk I am not made to feel this way.

Sorry if I hurt anyone’s sentiments.. But then thats what LOOSERS do … I will write other experiences I had in a few days to come. Maybe then someone might tell me that I am not a LOOSER to have come to UK.

thanks for reading this
