Black leaves – Never thought a tree would be so dark! Was the stem (wood) also black ?

YEs it was , it was very veyr dark.. but that maybe the shadow of the leaves .. i will need t ogo and have another loook ..

I saw these types of trees in Kew gardens, London. This looks unique, Bikram!
Haanji.. i also took it at one of the gardens here Stentham … This was the only tree so i clicked it .. I ma sure kew gardens has lot of them , I am going to london for 4 days in july will visit it
