Thursday Challenge SPRING (New Life, Green, Melting Snow, Pleasant Weather,…).. This weeks topic is Spring. and My garden is ready with the saplings and shoots shooting .. just wish its remains warm for a couple of days and flowers will be ready to bloom :)

      :) thank you so much, for liking them .. yes me too looking forward to the summer as such in uk we dont get that many hot days and whatever we get we need to make the most of them …

      :) yes me too, me too I cant wait for them to bloom .. Oh yes I will definitely put the pictures on the flowers when they are blooming for sure …

      yessssssssss pleaseeeeeeeeeee .. more of it jsut a few more days and that will do the trick.. but luckily and touch wood its been good the last week or so .. fingers crossed it will be the same for a a bit longer tooo :)

      THe yellow one is the daffodil, its going now too hot for it now, the blue and voilet onces are BlueBells..

      Yes they are open , I have no idea what happeend or How they got closed and I did not know how to undo it , so i had to create a new post and re do it :(

  10. I have always been too lazy for gardening. Hopefully will pick this up after a few years when I develop more patience :) Good going bik…

      :) hmm well give it a try , i know it requires a lot of patience and a lot of Back pain and knees hurting too all that bending and sitting on the knees :) but its worth all that ..

      Thank you for liking.. Yes i managed to do it :) the first thing that i do when i reach home is go out to the garden .. and also the first thing i do when i wake up before going from my run I go out to the garden .. :) makes me happy all the new life popping up

      offcourse i planted them , spent my whole of long bank holiday weekend doing it :) who else will plant them here in uk, i cant afford a gardener not that rich yet :) he he he he

      Yes it is , I love spending time and Money :) on my garden.. and wait till the corn flower blooms it has lovely blue colored flowers and they last for ages almost till snow comes.. Thank you .

      YEah i know , those pictures break heart but now that summer is finally coming it brings new life .. yes I will surly put the pictures of the flowers once they bloom ..

    The bulbs which are waiting to burst open are beautiful! I noticed that the manure in my niece’s place also (London), is black! She spent 7 hours in a day for gardening a few days back! Here, the mixed sand is almost red!

    You have a nice garden and I know you spend a lot of time for it, nice!

      YEah i guess same all over uk, general normal Peat free Compost, WOW 7 hours now thats something I cant do that on one day , but i do use all my time out there, I dont like sitting indoors during days off.. also I have a problem with hay fever and when it too hot i get lot of it sneezing, eyes itching and all.. so dont get to spend that much time as i would like ..

      so i do it early mornings or evenings .. :) you are perfectly correct :) Thank you so much.

          Haanji I am. Especially early morning cup of cofffee and walk around see the saplings come up. And then birds bathing and chirping in water aand the pond.

      :) yeah the problem in india is there is not much time for spring it get hot too soon and early thats what spoils the spring I guess ..

      Yes it is you got that right.. Thank you hmm i was hoping no one asked me the question I have no idea about the name of the plant .. but It will bloom into a HUGE red flower, quiet similar to the Dahlia but more denser ..

    Amazing!! You have let us see all shades of your lovely garden, Bikram.. first it was pink and blue flowers, then, it was the frozen fountain, then ice-covered pics and now, the start of a whole new chapter- a new beginning.. the growth of a seeed into a sapling, and into a plant with beautiful flowers…. AMAZING – LIFE!!!

    Do I remember you mentioning that you grow tulips too??? Hmm? :)

      Yes it does bring smiles when the flowers bloom.

      yeah hopefull a lot of blue pink red flowers this time round tooo.. and yes tulips you heard but because of the weathers its been too cold they did not do good, So i will have to wait for next year i suppsoe…

      Yes u said it so nicely like the national plant of scotland thistle its got thorns and grows wild but the lovely flower it has is awesome. I am trying to grow rhem in my garden. Thank you for the lovely comment.

      Hmm thank you so much and I am not that good I do what I can. It is hard cause cant afford a gardener. And dont get that much time other then weekends or before going to work. Thank you so much.

    Hi BK,
    Let the sun come and let them bloom. You wait for the sun, and here we wait for the rain. Actually it rained pretty heavily off and on, bringing the long awaited April showers, immediately the garden started looking so beautiful, where as just few days before the downpour they were looking dry like a desert.

      thank you.. yes its very sunny and warm and hot .. no we dont need rains as such in uk its always a rainy season so we have had enough of rains..

      Thank you. I remember the Rajmah and the chick peas on a cotton base dipped in water ad then watch them grow when we were kids .. :)
